Attraction Vs Love

Alex frowned. In love? Was that really what this was? He had thought there would be more to it somehow since Claire had such a hard time when she tried explaining it to him the first time he asked. 

"That feeling in my chest is romantic love? I don't understand," he admitted. 

Ray sighed and rubbed his forehead. "I really didn't think I would be having this discussion until my kids were older…that feeling is called attraction. Wanting to touch Claire more is a part of it too. You think she's pretty, don't you?"

"Yes. She's beautiful! I have thought so ever since I found out what the word means. Her face is the most pleasing to see out of all the faces I know of. Especially when she smiles. She was smiling at me when I first felt the weird feeling in my chest."
