Fighting a king

The moment that this aura appeared, I immediately raised my hand to stop everyone following behind us.

This wasn't a small group, this was a very large group made up not just of spirit beasts, but also a bunch of humans. 

These were the humans that we had helped while we were taking down the spirit beasts. But of course, it wasn't as if this was everyone that we helped.

Only a portion of them came along with us, the rest of them all ran away because they were scared to come along.

They had seen the beast wave and the Four Kings, so they were too scared to fight.

As such, I sent them back with the mission to pass the news of what was happening in the center of this Myriad Beast Valley to the elders that were waiting outside. Perhaps there was the chance that they would come in and help us, but I wasn't betting on it.

I wasn't even betting on these people to actually tell the ones that were waiting outside about what was happening here.
