Chapter 91: Homecoming

Deros PoV

Waking up, I stared at my watch. It was synced to Orginal's planetary time. The familiar numbers glowed softly, a reminder of the world I had left behind. I stretched and sat up, feeling a mix of anticipation and apprehension.

I got up and walked over to the small window in my cabin. As I glanced outside, my breath caught in my throat. There it was—Orginal. My home planet. The blue oceans, tall mountains, sprawling cities, and the winding rivers were all visible from space. It might've been smaller than the planets I had found myself in, but it was home.

Orginal looked so peaceful from up here, a stark contrast to the turmoil it had endured. My heart ached with longing and a sense of responsibility. This was the place where I grew up. While we didn't get to reach Vyran's planet, at least we got some help from our trip. Although our

The door to my cabin slid open, and Vyran stepped in. "Morning, Deros. How are you holding up?"

I turned to him, trying to keep my emotions in check. "Morning, Vyran. Just... taking it all in. It's been a while since I've gotten to watch Orginal like this."

Last time we were above it, we had to fight.

Vyran walked over and stood beside me, looking out at my home planet. "I can only imagine how you must feel. Going back to a place that holds so many memories, both good and bad."

I nodded, feeling a lump in my throat. "Yeah, it's a lot to process. But we have a mission, and I can't let my personal feelings get in the way."

Vyran placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll face it together, Deros. You're not alone in this. We all have a stake in stopping Yusan and bringing peace to our worlds."

I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of solidarity. "Thanks, Vyran. That means a lot." I sighed. "Although, Yusan isn't the one who took over Orginal. It's Zepheria. We aren't even back here to liberate it..."

"True," Varia said, walking into the room. She laughed as she saw my cat pajamas. "Cute pajamas, Deros. Didn't peg you for a cat person."

I felt my cheeks heat up and rubbed the back of my neck, chuckling awkwardly. "Hey, they're comfortable, okay?"

Vyran laughed along with her, the tension in the room easing slightly. "Well, comfort is key, especially with the missions we've been on."

Varia's expression turned serious as she joined us by the window, gazing out at Orginal. "Deros, we may not be here to liberate Orginal right now, but every step we take against Yusan gets us closer to that goal. Remember, we have to dismantle the larger threat before we can focus on individual battles."

I nodded, her words resonating with me. "You're right. One step at a time. We stop Yusan, and then we deal with Zepheria."

Varia placed a hand on my other shoulder, sandwiching me between her and Vyran. "Exactly. And we'll be there with you, every step of the way."

I felt a surge of gratitude for my friends. Despite the complexities of our alliance and the challenges ahead, their support gave me strength. "Thanks, both of you. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Vyran squeezed my shoulder gently before stepping back. "Well, let's get ready. Commander Wilneth will want us in the briefing room soon."

I nodded and began to gather my things, changing out of my cat pajamas into my combat gear. As I did, I couldn't help but glance out the window one more time. Orginal seemed to shimmer with hope, a beacon calling me to fight for its future.

We made our way to the briefing room, where the rest of the team was already gathered. Commander Wilneth stood at the front, her expression serious and focused.

"Good morning, everyone," she began. "We're approaching Orginal and will be landing shortly. Our mission is to gather information from Zepheria to find any leads on Yusan's whereabouts. This is a critical operation, and we must stay vigilant."

She looked at each of us, her gaze steady. "Remember, we're allies at the moment. We need to work together to the best of our abilities. Together, we can overcome any obstacle."

As the briefing continued, I felt a sense of unity and purpose. We were all here for a reason, brought together by a common enemy. And with Orginal waiting below, I knew we had the strength and determination to succeed.

As we prepared for our descent, I glanced out of the window one last time. The sight of Orginal filled me with a mix of emotions, but above all, it fueled my resolve. This was my home, and I would fight for it, no matter the cost.

With a final nod from Commander Wilneth, we headed to our stations, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The journey was far from over, but together, we were unstoppable.

As the ship began its descent, I took a deep breath and steeled myself for what was to come. The landscape of Orginal grew larger and more detailed, the familiar terrain stirring memories of both joy and sorrow. But this time, I wasn't alone. With Vyran, Varia, and the rest of the team by my side, I felt a renewed sense of hope. We were here to make a difference, to fight for a better future.

The ship touched down on my home town with a gentle thud, and the ramp lowered to reveal the city I had known my entire life. The air was crisp, and the scent of the nearby sea filled my lungs.

Much to my surprise, the city was already being rebuilt after our big fight with Zepheria and his forces several Orginal days ago. Although, the colorful beauty it once had had been replaced by a certain coldness. The Titanos aesthetic was as cold as Zepheria's home planet was said to be.

With a final glance at my friends, I stepped forward. Hopefully, I wouldn't explode on Zepheria. The time to free my planet wasn't here yet. I had to keep reminding myself that. A wrong move and our temporary alliance with the Titanos commanders would burn up like a helium blimp.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
