The First Conflict (part two)

The Army of Night charged toward the living. Their screams, frenzied and wild as they came ever closer to the front line. The Bots were the first to meet the line and then the vanguard of humans quickly followed. The battle was bloody and gruesome as sentient beings fell left and right. Their screams echoed in the long narrow pass. The songbirds had long left the area, only crows and vultures flew silently above waiting for the end of the bloody battle to come so they could feast. The archers were constantly firing into lines of their enemies quickly dropping numbers of men and women.

"Gary," hua spoke, " Take on Pfannkuchen. Moarland, you go take care of Nina, I'll deal with my sister."

Yes sir," they both replied in unison before taking off to fight their designated opponents.

Gary was flying through the crowd of people fighting each other. He had one goal, and that goal was to kill or incapacitate Pfannkuchen. He kept running until he found the man he was looking for. Starring off with a look of abject remorse. He had a crew cut brown hair. Brown eyes and slightly tan skin. He stood about 5'11 and emanated an aura of a kind person who had been hurt many times.

"It's useless, you know," spoke Pfannkuchen in a tone of regret. "as things currently stand you have no chance of winning this war. Why not fight to fight another day?"

"You know nothing, coward," snarled Gary, "You betrayed us. Whatever happened to bros before hoes?"

"Nina. Is. No. Hoe."

His face took on a serious demeanor, his eyes gave off a sharp glare as a scythe appeared in his hand and ethereal wings came from behind. He looked and seemed angry. But anyone good at reading faces would realize that it was forced.

Gary pulled out his sword and prepared to fight. The blade glimmered in the moonlit fire all around them. The word Gucci could be seen engraved on the sword. He made a signal for Pfannkuchen to come at him in which he responded by happily obliging.

The clash left a ringing in the battlefield. Sparks flew every time the blades clashed. The dark scythe tore through the air on a dead set track to severely injure Gary. The blade could not be stopped but it had left an opening for him to exploit. He thrust his sword forward into the gut of his opponent just after receiving a deadly slash across his chest. Both wounds were not fatal but could severely lower one's battle skills. The fight continued as they exchanged wound after wound. Pfannkuche was now in the air throwing all kinds of weapons at Gary while he desperately tried to defend. Similarly, Pfannkuchen had to dodge throwing knives and arrows that Gary would throw at him. Then a knife stuck him in his arm. He flinched and reached to pull it out. This however would be a fatal mistake as he felt a sharp pain in his torso. He looked down. The sword was buried deep. Gary had jumped up and stabbed him in his moment of distraction. He fell.

A small smile graced his lips. "At least it was you to send me away." he coughed blood as his time was now short. This wound would not kill him when he was this strong. However, Gary was not gonna let him live.

"Likewise." He whispered, raising his sword to deliver the final blow to Pfannkuchen. He closed his eyes. A look of calm covered his face. He was ready to die.

"Bur-bah-burmmmm"

The sound of a warhorn echoed across the canyon. Reinforcements had arrived. This would be what saved the Owner Empire. The cavalry and footmen charged at the enemy back lines.

Men scrambled to put up any resistance but it was futile. They had nowhere near enough time.
