Is Richard That Bored And Just Wants To Take On A Charity Case?

"President Yang, it's Secretary Sun!"

A knock at the door and pushing down on the handle revealed a woman that was at least four years older than Yang Nina.

"Come in! The door is open!"

Dressed smartly in a black pant suit and high heels, her hair was held in a ponytail by an elastic band. In terms of looks, Secretary Sun had a quiet beauty that required no additional effort to look the way she was, she wore in both ears was a small round plain silver studs and a simple silver bracelet watch on the right wrist.

Yang Nina looked at the woman that had served her faithfully for years, as she walked confidently into her office.

"Secretary Sun, what is it about Richard that you couldn't tell me over the phone? I'm all ears! You know that I don't like surprises and patience is not my strong point, so just get straight to the point and don't beat around the bush!"

Yang Nina sat close to the edge of her chair, as though it had suddenly been made from the skin of a porcupine.

"I don't know how this is going to sound..."

Biting on her lower lips, Sun Yifei wanted to cry because working for the Yang family especially Yang Nina was akin to walking on egg shells, constantly having to be watchful not to say or do the wrong things that would cost one their job.

"You are beginning to annoy me now, Secretary Sun! I'm no longer that naive little girl of seven years ago! Just tell me! You're starting to make me nervous!!!!"

Yang Nina's face hardened, her voice went up several octaves higher when she mentioned the tragedy that made her the woman she was presently.

A weak sigh escaped out of Sun Yifei; she had a look of worry which soon disappeared after squaring her shoulders to face her boss.

"Yang Xiao, is the name of the man that has caught Master Richard's interest. He is 27 years old, currently unemployed and has been that way, now going to three years. He does menial jobs to stay afloat, but barely hanging on to the place he is staying. No children, his family lives in a town two hours from the city. He has no "significant other", above average height, healthy and lacks social skills! His record is clean, no outstanding debt that is of great importance. He spends his time going for interviews and window shopping."

Sun Yifei laid emphasis on significant other to draw the attention of Yang Nina as to the reason for her son's acting out of character. Yang Nina was an intelligent woman, but when it came down to knowing how the world really worked, she was a total moron!

"Secretary Sun! You are essentially telling me that Richard is spending his money on a jobless man! How could he do this to me! Is Richard that bored and just wants to take on a charity case? Because I really can't see why he would give out that amount of money to a total stranger!"

Yang Nina was so upset after hearing the details of the man that her son had taken a liking to, it was as if he had dealt a slap to her face.

"I know President Yang can be clueless at times, but can't she see that her son wants to make himself a complete family! What a pity! I guess she'll have to get home to find out herself! Master Richard I do hope your plan works, but if not..."

Sun Yifei quietly kept her thought to herself, as she waited to hear what her boss would do next.
