Madell said, as she approach the young ladies hair wanting to touch it once again

"Really!?"

Dexter said believing a little in his masters word, as it was something he wanted her to say...something the child wanted to hear as it spells safety

The young man flinch when he felt his master's hairy hand approach his head but the young man didn't move and let Madell touch his hair, as he got no reason to refuse and even though he partially believe his masters word he don't want to get to Madell's bad side, as dexter have no idea if Madell's word is actually hold the truth

'Why is the child's hair so short?. how would mandell look with a long hair,.....how cute that would be'

Madell thought imagining how Mandell would look if she had long black hair.. while grooming the young ladies short and silky hair

While Madell is patting the child's head, she heard the kid say something

"Ma'am madell do you like me cause I'm delicious?"

Dexter said feeling that something is wrong with his body but have no idea to what it is,

The young man's vision slowly blurred out, as he felt a extremely hot temperature touching his whole body

The sweat from the heat formed together making his back soaking wet

"Delicious?. child I have no reason to eat you"

Madell said immediately understanding the reason behind the child's word,

She feed her and take care of her shelter but for some reason she is scared of Madell..but hearing the child's words, she finally understood the reason behind why the child is scared of her

'So she thought I would eat her?. well the child not knowing knowing about the friendship about the two race, would have been a lead clue for me to know why the kid is scared....I never said the reason to why I care for her have I?'

Madell pondered as she pull his arm back, away from the child's messy hair,

She then said with a warm smile hiding his extreme frustration that had formed upon hearing the child's word

"My child no humakey would ever think of eating you?, well they might feel curious..but they won't hurt you...I promise"

Madell said she then looked and saw that the child face is blushing behind the humakey costume

"So I..ha.. won't die?"

"Yeah I'll protect you so you won't die"

Madell said trying to comfort the young lady, and also promising herself to be better at knowing what the child is feeling

She is not at fault for not knowing about the child's circumstances but Madell felt the pressure to ease whatever bad feeling the child is having...she did snatch the child from isaac after all

Dexter tried to say something but his mind black out as he felt his body burning

'A!....its dark..Ma'am Madell you look funny today, is it because your wearing a new fur?...its getting dizzy in h-

The youngster thought seeing Madell's blurry face before completely blacking out

Madell heard the child wanting to say something so she look to mandell's direction

Just to saw the child's fainted body laying in the ground

Seconds after falling to the ground, Madell immediately reacted, and grabbed the child's body off the ground, she slowly and carefully carried the body to the dark shade away from the burning sunlight

'Why did Mandell suddenly faint?..is she perhaps allergic to the milk bug I give her, or is she tired'

Madell tried to think about the reason to why the child suddenly fainted but could not be able to tell about the cause why the young lady collapse with only his eyes...so she remove the hood that was hiding the child's face

Madell saw mandell's face looking like she got a fever with his reddish skin accompanied by her heavy breathing

Madell leaned closed to the child and put the tip of his tongue in the child's forehead

humakey have fur that can resist heat so feeling someone temperature using their hand would not work as they won't feel the heat the patient's body is giving accurately

'Her whole face is burning!. why didn't the child said anything earlier?'

Madell thought as she removed his tongue of the child's forehead, so only Madell's saliva could remain

Madell stand up and carried the child to his back planning to rush back to the healer house to know what's the child's condition is,

Madell could only tell that the child is having a fever cause of the sunlight....which she can tell just by looking and touching the child's body. but she had no idea if the young lady have more symptoms other than two

With the child in his back Madell walk toward the healing house, she had no need to run as it might make what the child is feeling even worse

*Thump...thump..thump*

The sound of the child's heart beating faster and louder every minute, Madell bite his lower lip just to cool herself down

'If I have my equipment here I could heal the child easily..tsk.....mandell please be okay'

Madell pondered as she walk trying not to create any force with his every step

Madell looked behind to check the kids condition and saw Mandell's face completely red almost shining behind the humakey hood she was wearing

Madell would love to open the hood the child is wearing for Mandell to inhale some fresh air...but she is a human and it might form a crowd of humakey curious of her if Madell opened her hood..which is a bad thing considering her condition.

Madell thought as she saw the healing house near her....it will take a second for Madell to arrive if she was running but the child is behind her so excessive movement is a no,no
