Secret Transmission

Space…

Dawn Star, Flagship of the Dusk Organization.

"We have an urgent transmission from Earth, ma'am. What are your orders?" asked a female Dusk agent behind an Omni computer. 

"What's the location and who is the sender?" came a voice in her earpiece. 

"Location 100, sent by Hidden Agent A60 ma'am," replied the female agent.

"Send it to me at once," the voice commanded.

The female agent quickly sent the hidden transmission to her superior, the voice in her ear.

"Thank you, agent. Continue with your work."

Nancy opened the transmission sent by the agent on her holographic desk.

Her beautiful almond shaped eyes narrowed as she perused the hidden message in the transmission sent from earth.

One reason why the government couldn't target the Dusk Organization for the losses they caused them was that their headquarters were in space.

Whenever Dusk agents wanted to carry out their missions, heavily encrypted transmissions would be sent to hidden agents around earth who would then facilitate their easy infiltration of Earth, cause distractions and allow the Dusk agents to finish their directives smoothly.

Any attempt made to bust a 'base' of the Dusk organization on earth was a fool's errand. The true headquarters was the Dawn Star, a third class Behemoth spaceship owned by the Dusk Organization.

She boasted extreme stealth and anti-detection capabilities which prevented her from being seen on the radars of Earth or even other alien planets.

Not forgetting the heavily upgraded weapons on her, purchased and plundered from various alien races which were guaranteed to give Ascended realm experts a run for their money!

Besides, the Dawn Star never stayed in one place. 

Her course was changed according to the whim of the Supreme Commander of the Dusk Organization, Zero, who was also present on the ship.

Thus, the organization was safely out of everyone's reach.

Even if the government were able to capture Dusk agents on Earth, they dared not treat them too harshly. Sometimes, they even let them go, of course, for a price.

Why?

Well, there was this one secret closely guarded by the government.

If it came out, it would be an extreme shock to the general public!

The thing was, the Dusk Organization was actually a separate special force which defended Earth against extraterrestrial threats!

Yes!

The Dusk Organization acted as Earth's guardians in space.

There was a catch though and the main reason why the government didn't see eye to eye with the Dusk Organization.

It was very simple.

The Dusk Organization, though being a special force that acted in Earth's best interests, was private. The government had no control over it!

As obsessed with control as the government were, they couldn't bear the thought of an elite special force with many members and powerful awakened who weren't under their thumb.

Various forms of pressure and nerf tactics had been applied to force or coerce the Dusk Organization to relinquish its autonomy to the government but the Dusk Organization refused to do so!

Their Supreme Commander, Zero, saw the government as lazy and corrupt pigs who hid in safehouses protected by powerful awakened who did little to see to the best interests of earth.

Thus they were villainized and the government barred them from holding special recruitment tests to get new members.

They hoped that by cutting the lifeline through which the Dusk Organization obtained new members, the organization would be forced to give in to their demands.

After all, even though the Dusk Organization regularly travelled around the galaxy and was on very good terms with other races, they preferred to have human members than aliens!

Did that work though?

No!

In retaliation, the Dusk Organization decided to target kids yet to awaken or newly awakened kids, kidnapping them and taking them to the Dawn Star.

Once on the ship, they would be given special forces training not any less inferior to that done by the best six awakened schools.

Honestly speaking, it was even much better than what the schools offered.

Of course, the new recruits would always be given a heavy dose of the true nature of the government, backed by solid evidence which was more than enough to crumble the lofty and angelic picture the government portrayed to the world.

That was why Dusk agents almost always never defected.

Not only were they being trained, they were also receiving real life fighting experience as they were made to take part in skirmishes against unfriendly alien probing forces!

The government could do nothing about the kidnapping so an agreement was reached between the organization and the government that once the Awakened made it into one of the awakened schools, they would be off limits to the Dusk Organization.

If not, almost every talent would be taken away by the Organization, leaving them with only mediocre awakened.

Rules were made to be broken though.

Once the organization saw an extremely talented individual in the awakened schools, they would find ways and means to secretly get them away from the clutches of the government!

Some of these poached geniuses even became hidden forces on Earth who scouted out talented people like them, sending their information to the Dawn Star and that was what had happened currently.

The transmission was from one of such agents who had apparently spotted an insane talent.

Nancy's eyes light up as she kept watching the video in front of her again and again.

The video showed a fight between five people at the peak level against eight others a level below them.

The video captured the fight in such a way that the whole focus of the video was on one person, one of the eight fighting against their seniors.

A brown haired boy.

Damien Walker.

Nancy made a call to one of the Dusk Organization's many hackers.

"Get me the government test results of one Damien Walker, age sixteen, first year student in the Imperial Institute.

Do add his registered awakening results while you're at it," she commanded.

While waiting for the information, she slowed the video down to the lowest she could and rewatched the fight again.

"That attack should be a mental attack… impressive execution and control! It just needs some adjustments…

Hm… what did he do here?

Oh okay he's proficient in body techniques too… beautiful!

His presence of mind is amazing!

He would make a great team leader!

The range of his mental attacks should be more than fifteen meters… incredible!

And he's just at the mid-level Enlightenment realm?" Nancy's smile widened as she carefully reviewed each and every move Damien made, sometimes even stopping the video.

She was surprised.

This Damien was more than talented!

He was a genius!

Now all she hoped was that he wasn't affiliated to any rich family. 

It would be such a shame and a waste of his talent!

It seemed his relationship with the kids from big families was good though, even being able to seamlessly work with them and watch out for them.

If he was part of any force or powerful family, poaching him would be much harder to pull off.

At long last, she received Damien's test results.

With deep curiosity, she opened the file.

"What the fuck!? She exclaimed.

A mark of 19?!

Awakened in all three paths?

Those who had awakened in all three paths on earth could be counted on one hand!

90% chance of awakening in all the paths too?

That was insane!

With wide eyes, she opened the other file on Damien's awakened results.

"Four powers! No it could even be five!" Nancy exclaimed.

Space Element!

Psychic Element!

A mysterious Soul rune!

Peak body physique!

Regeneration!

This kid was fucking loaded!

Nancy made her mind up there and then. 

Someone like Damien was only fit to be trained by the Dusk Organization.

The school and the government wouldn't be able to deliver and help him out!

Damien had to be recruited into the Dusk Organization. His talent was beyond the level of geniuses!

The government and the school were truly fools and people who wasted talents.

How could they put someone like Damien into a normal environment and leave him to his own devices?

For prodigies like Damien, a special training plan had to be made to specially suit him! 

A mentor and a teacher should be with him to instruct him, answer his questions and give him guidance.

He shouldn't be left to do his own training at his own time and convenience! 

A strict training regimen would be of great help to such a talent.

The lazy laissez faire approach being used by the government and school for the students would be detrimental to someone like Damien!

Nancy decisively made up her mind that she had to save Damien at all costs.

Once he joined the Dusk Organization, they would make sure that he recognized his potential! Unlike the government and school who were uncaring about Damien, she would make sure that Damien became even more powerful!

Dangerous times were coming, if not right ahead.

The future was in the hands of people like Damien and Earth's safety would depend on their strength.

If someone like Damien underwent the Dusk Organization's training regimen, he would be a monster to deal with in the future!

Nancy made another call again.

"Send a secret transmission to agent A60 to monitor Damien from now on.

Order agent A60 to secretly protect Damien and also video his performance in the upcoming ranking battles.

Other agents should also be deployed to look out for Damien's parents.

After the ranking battles, we will begin the poaching.

We'll see what to do from there and how to get him to join us without the notice of the government."
