CHAPTER 57

We travelled until we finally reached the entrance of the base, this isn't just a normal entrance as we are taking the direction where no one can follow us. This is the area we need to always protect as this is our home. Hundreds of agents, our people are living here, we can't risk their lives just because we've become reckless. 

I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes to feel the cold blow of night air. The clock has turned to its upper center, the moon was bright as if it was telling me to look up and stare at it. Vanessa and Ashleigh remain leaning their backs against the car. We used to do this after a mission, just us, resting in the middle of the night with this beautiful darkness as a witness.
