CHAPTER 55

"Let's go," I looked at Dad when he invited us to go inside the helicopter. Those women with us have just relocated to a better place, women with families will be returned to their homes and those with unaccountable relatives will be taken to a shelter. We are hoping they will be okay, and we've done everything we can to locate them a better home to stay. They didn't deserve what happened to them because they are all just victims of their fate. Our organization also provided them with financial assistance.

I gazed up at the sky, but due to the blinding light, I also closed my eyes. This day will be a fresh start for them. I am sure I am not the only one that is delighted for those ladies. Their eyes shone with the promise of a new beginning.

I gave Dad a nod and walked into the helicopter. Today, we will return to our true home. I have only been gone for a few days, yet I believe I have been away for almost a month.
