My Secret Feeling

Lucretia entered the class and saw Daisy all over Philip. Daisy turned to her gaze and smirked.

"You're such a bitch Daisy" she cursed underneath her breathe.

Lucretia's gaze was drifted by a call from her friends.

"Lucretia...., Lucretia..."

Lucretia turned to the direction of the voice and Mimie gestured her over. She sighed in distress and went over.

"What's up with you Lucretia? Still feeling unwell?" asked Crystal.

"No...,not that crystal..."

"Then.... what's eating you up?" asked Mimie

Lucretia's attention unconsciously drifted to Philip and Daisy and her friends following her gaze, nodded.

"Oh...." they added in unison.

Lucretia regained her consciousness by their exclamation and turned to their direction.

"What?"

"I now know what's stressing you up." said Mimie.

"I can see the crazy bitch is making you jealous." said Crystal.

"Uhm.....? Me..., jealous...? I'm not!" she answered with a weary smile.

"Uhm..., I can see that." added Crystal sarcastically.

"Hey...., Mr. Luke is coming." whispered Mimie looking over their shoulders.

Crystal and Lucretia turned to the direction of Mimie's gaze and quickly rushed to their seats. Lucretia stopped in her tracks on getting to her seat.

"Hey..., that's my seat" said Lucretia to Daisy.

"Oops...sorry..., I guess you have to find yourself another seat." said Daisy with a smirked.

Daisy's friends were looking at them and giggling as Daisy teases Lucretia.

"Luc..., I think you should just find another seat. It's just a seat, don't make a mountain out of a mole." added Philip.

Lucretia looked on hurt while Daisy smiled in satisfaction at her. This chaos drew the teacher's attention to them.

"Lucretia..why are you still standing? What's going on over there?"

"Uhm....Nothing sir..." answered Lucretia stammering.

"Then why are you still standing..?"

"Sorry sir.." she answered and found herself another seat.

She sat with her attention all draw to Philip and Daisy and didn't even hear the teacher call her.

"Miss Lucretia...?, Miss Lucretia....?"

She felt a tap from behind and she turned to meet the gaze of her teacher and class mates.

"Are you here with us?" asked Mr Luck.

She looked around embarrassed and nodded.

"Then pay more attention to the lesson." the teacher added.

Daisy starred at her and smiled sheepishly. At long last, the never ending Maths class ended with the ring of the bell. All the students sighed in unison.

"See you tomorrow..." said Mr Luck as he took his things and left. Mimie and Crystal ran over to Lucretia.

"Hey.....Lucretia.., are you okay?"said Crystal as they approached her.

She looked up to them and nodded.

"Don't think too much Lucretia.." said Mimie.

"I think you girls should leave for lunch first, I will get Philip then join you." she said with a smile.

"Okay....if you say so." answered Mimie.

"Then...,see you.." they answered in unison and left.

Lucretia packed her books under her desk, stood from her seat and went over to Philip who was still with Daisy.

"Phil..., can we go for lunch now? I'm starving."

"Sorry Luc..., I'm having lunch with Daisy today so why not join Mike and the rest."

"But you promised to buy me lunch today."

"Sorry..., I'll make it up to you tomorrow. I promise."

"Uhm...." she nodded in disappointment as she watched them leave.

Daisy looked over her shoulder and smiled mockingly at her.

"Oops..." she gestured.

"I hate this feeling of jealousy." she murmured to herself and left to the canteen.

CANTEEN

Lucretia went to the counter and got her food. She stood for awhile looking around for her friends then saw a hand gesturing her over.

"Hey....Lucretia..., over here." gestured Crystal with a smile.

Lucretia smiled and moved over to their table, placed her tray of food down and took her seat.

"Hey...Lucretia.., where is Philip...?" asked Mike.

"I should be asking you that. Aren't you his friend?"

"But you are his best friend so you should know more." added Eugene.

"I'm I..? Sorry..., I didn't know that." answered Lucretia sarcastically.

"Hey...girl...chill....They just wanted to know where he is." said Mimie.

"And I said I don't know." answered Lucretia feeling pissed by their continues question about Philip.

"It's okay guys...., I think we should dig into our meals before the bell rings." said Crystal trying to calm the atmosphere.

"Yeah...Yeah..." they all nodded in unison.

Lucretia sat quietly for awhile and sighed, slowly speaking.

"Sorry...guys for being such a psyco just now."

"Uhm..." they all nodded.

"It's alright Lucretia.., we know how you feel." answered Crystal patting her shoulder. She nodded and smiled.

"Now.., eat something.."

Lucretia took her meal and dug in, chit chatting and giggling with her friends. After a while, Philip and Daisy walked into the canteen being all lovey dovey. Mimie first saw them and shouldered Lucretia to have a look. Speaking slowly.

"Hey...Lucretia..? she whispered.

" Uhm...?she asked lifting her head slowly from her food

"Look..." whispered Mimie, gesturing her over to the direction of their table.

"What...?" she asked looking around.

"Over there..." she added, pointing to their direction.

Lucretia followed Mimie's direction and was stunned with what she saw. She sat quietly looking at them in ewe.

"Lucretia...., Lucretia..." called Crystal but there was no answer.

Crystal looked over to Mimie, communicating with their eyes.

"What's wrong?" asked Crystal in whisper.

"Over there..." she whispered, gesturing with her eyes over to the direction of Philip and Daisy.

Crystal turned to Lucretia and followed her gaze. Mike and Eugene also followed her gaze on seeing how stunned she looked.

"What's going on between them?" asked Mike

"As you can see" answered Lucretia.

Daisy saw Lucretia's gaze and winked at her with a disdainful smile. Lucretia, feeling pissed off, pushed her food aside and stormed out of the Canteen.

"Hey...Lucretia....!" Crystal and Mimie called in unison after.

"I will go after her." said Crystal and went after her

DAISY'S TABLE

Daisy looked on and smiled in satisfaction

"Hey..., are you okay?" asked Philip on seeing how Daisy was behaving.

"Yeah..., I'm feeling very good. So loving it over here." she answered sarcastically.

"Okay..." he answered.

Lucretia rushed to the Washroom and broke down in tears. Crystal followed her and heard her cries on approaching the door. She slowly opened the door and walked over to her.

"It's okay Lucretia..." she said slowly, patting her on the shoulder.

"Crystal...." she cried turning her and hugged her, crying on her shoulders.

"Why doesn't he notice me Crystal...?" she asked amidst tears.

"It's alright girl....I know how you feel" she answered consoling her.

"It's hurts..,Crystal. I hate this feeling of Jealousy. Why am I like this? she asked still crying.

" Calm down Lucretia..., put yourself together. It's not like it's the end of this world. If you love him then I think you should fight for your love."

"How Crystal?" she asked, raising her eyes to Crystal.

"I don't know yet but I know you can do it."

"But you know Daisy gets whatever she wants at all cost."

"I know Lucretia but I know you are also a fighter who never gives up. You can do it girl." she answered with a smile

Lucretia looked at Crystal and smiled.

"Now, there you are. Keep smiling, you look more beautiful when you smile." said Crystal drying her tears.

"Thank you Crystal" she answered with a smile and hugged her.

"Now..., let's go back. It's almost time for our next lesson."

"Okay..." she answered with a nod and they left.
