The Love of A Lonely Heart

Angelique Qin—was her name. A name that followed jealousy, resentment, and retaliation because she was deemed to be the woman that stole Luó Zheming’s heart. Unfortunately for Luó Zheming, Angelique was not interested in becoming a thief. Her unwavering ambition was the revelation of the hidden truths her family held following her mother's death. Intertwined two souls with explosive, sorrowful hearts was an imprudent decision but one shot in the dark was all it took for the angel and devil to meet. However, both masters of disguise who was the veritable angel and the actual devil in this romance like slow-motion suicide? [Cut Scene] "You don't want this. Sweetheart. You. Do not," Angelique Qin whispered, glancing away. "Acting in an angel disguise. You do not deserve this." "Am I a bad person, right?" She declared with her naughty grin and a mischievous spark in her blue orbs. There was no shadow of her usual innocence. "Are you listening to m—" He pulled her to his chest. His left hand found its way to her delicate waist. Inclining his face towards hers, crashing his peach lips on her cherry ones. He kissed her, their tongues controlling each other, refusing any loss. "If that's how you play, Mr. Luó Zheming. Then don't flatter yourself." Her hands started moving dangerously low to a place that induced him to growl. His surprised, eclipsed eyes greeted her untamed ones. Her arms returned around his neck. She settled her weight on him, pushing him to the sofa.

The Inanimate Endeavors of a Celestial

So this is the best I can do to solidify myself within the mortal lands. I could have been a man, any powerful beast, a bird, or even an ant. I could have immediately become a powerful mortal in this realm but instead...this happened. How can I possibly develop great power as...this, said Win Doh. Win Doh was a mighty cultivator who had long since transcended beyond his mortal bindings. He was an ethereal figure that could take any form by manipulating the quantum world around him, effectively concentrating energy into an entangled structure at will, of which he could as easily disperse. His favored manifestation was rather humanoid, as that is the form he'd become most familiar with during his 748,312 years as a mere human. He emanated a powerful aura that spanned thousands of light years in every direction, which represented his direct influence on the universe around him. At its source, this aura was so powerful that it gave Win Doh a translucent, glowing, white appearance to a mortal observer. Win Doh was an extradimensional being though, and his perceptual abilities far surpassed those of a mortal man. Every sense for him was synesthetic. He could directly perceive the longest and shortest of wavelengths, which included the likes of cosmic waves. He could pick up on the interwoven subtleties of the universe, experiencing how all was really one, and timeless for that matter. It would suffice to say that he was simply too complex to express the full extent of his being in a four dimensional existence. This however, was precisely what he had intended to do.
