VRMMORPG:The Sun Sets When The World Ends

Dante, an apostle for the evil God????? kneeled on the collapsed floor of a building coughing up blood, looking around he saw nothing but destruction where there was once prosperity and laughed self mockingly while he reminisced about how he did it. "Why?... Why did you do it Dante!" the hero said as his eyes swam looking around at this destruction, his voice sounding like he was on the verge of crying, his sword weakly at the neck of Dante, waking Dante from his reminiscent due to the icy sensation of the magical metal. "It was the only way...and even if there was another option, it's too late anyway," Dante said as he looked at the hero with his already half-blind blue eyes from the fight they just had. Hearing that, the hero didn't even continue speaking with him and just swung the sword, instantly decapitating him. The last sight he saw was the beautiful sunset mixed among the ruins of buildings as his vision turned black. The Escape Pt 1

The village leader looked at Dante with a sly smile as he opened the doors to the village treasury. Inside, there were piles of gold and jewels, causing Dante to freeze due to the amount he saw here.

Standing there Dante was petrified to that spot until he heard the village head starting to speak

"You may take one treasure from here as a reward for your valiant deeds against the zombie legion" the village head said still with that sly smile

Dante's eyes widened as he looked upon the treasures. He couldn't believe his luck. He had always thought the village had some riches but this was exceeding his wildest imaginations. But something about the leader's smile made him uneasy. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being played but overcome by that feeling was greed so he ignored it and walked forward.

As Dante approached the treasure, the leader suddenly grabbed him from behind and held a knife to his throat.

"You thought you could outsmart me, little necromancer? You might have been able to deceive my villagers but I am not a fool" the leader sneered whilst blowing a whistle that would summon the jail guards.

Dante's heart raced as he realized that the village head had seen through his scheme. He had been caught, and now he was in grave danger. The leader's grip tightened around his throat, and Dante could feel the cold steel of the knife pressing against his skin.

But Dante was not one to be caught off guard. He had been trained to stay calm since he was a child after all the abuse he had suffered, and he had learned to fight with more than just his physical body. With a sudden burst of energy, he summoned 12 wraiths to block the village head for him.

The leader was taken aback by the sudden appearance of the undead army. He had never seen anything like it before, and he knew he was in trouble. But he refused to back down. With a snarl, he lunged at Dante with the knife.

Dante deftly sidestepped the attack and summoned a wall of flames to block the leader's path. The flames were too much for the leader, and he stumbled back, his clothes singed and smoking.

Dante took advantage of the moment and struck out with his own knife. The blade found its mark, sinking deep into the leader's neck. The leader cried out in pain, but Dante was not finished yet.

With a fierce determination, Dante seized the treasures from the treasury and made a run for it. The undead soldiers cleared a path for him, blocking any guards from chasing after him.

The village erupted into chaos as Dante and his army made their escape. The sound of clashing swords and screams of agony filled the air. Dante's heart raced as he ran, the weight of the treasures slowing him down.Even though they were in his inventory.

But he refused to give up. He knew he had to escape at all costs. As he neared the edge of the village, he summoned one last burst of energy and created a massive explosion. The force of the blast knocked back anyone in its path, and Dante used the moment to slip away into the night.

He had done it. He had stolen the village's treasures and escaped with his life. But he knew he could never go back. He was a wanted man, a thief and a murderer. But he didn't care.He had what he wanted, and envisioning himself on his way to becoming the most evil Apostle there the world had ever seen.

Dante had been wandering through the forest, lost in his thoughts, when suddenly he felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. A blinding light engulfed him, and he found himself face-to-face with a priest of light.

The priest was tall and imposing, with a stern expression etched into his chiseled features. His armor gleamed in the sunlight, and he held a sword of pure light in his hand.

"You are a servant of darkness," the priest said, his voice booming with righteous fury. "I cannot allow you to continue your evil deeds."

Dante scoffed. "I am no servant of darkness. I am merely a wanderer, seeking my place in this world."

The priest did not seem convinced. He lunged forward, swinging his sword with blinding speed. Dante dodged the blow and countered with a swift kick to the priest's midsection.

The priest grunted in pain but quickly recovered. He swung his sword again, and Dante narrowly avoided the deadly blade. He realized that he was outmatched and needed to escape.

Dante began to back away slowly, keeping his eyes on the priest. He knew that he couldn't take him in a straight fight, but he was quick on his feet and had a few tricks up his sleeve.

The priest charged again, but Dante was ready. He sidestepped the attack and planted a well-placed punch on the priest's jaw. The priest stumbled back, but he was not defeated yet.

He raised his sword, and a burst of light shot from the blade. Dante dove to the side, narrowly avoiding the blast, but he knew that he couldn't keep this up for long.

He needed to find a way out. Dante scanned the area and spotted a nearby cliff. He made a break for it, hoping to lose the priest in the trees.

The priest was hot on his heels, his sword swinging with deadly intent. Dante leaped over fallen logs and ducked beneath low-hanging branches, trying to stay one step ahead of his pursuer.

Finally, he reached the cliff's edge. He turned to face the priest and smirked. "You can't follow me here, can you?"

The priest hesitated for a moment, but then a determined look crossed his face. He raised his sword and charged at Dante.

Dante smiled and leaped off the cliff, plummeting toward the rocks below. The priest followed, his sword raised high.

At the last moment, Dante spread his wings and took to the sky. He flew high above the forest, the priest following close behind.

Dante knew that he couldn't outfight the priest, but he could outmaneuver him. He darted and weaved through the trees, hoping to lose the priest in the dense foliage.

Finally, he spotted a small cave and darted inside, hoping to evade his pursuer.

The priest Gabriel followed him in, his sword at the ready. But Dante was waiting for him.

As soon as the priest entered the cave, Dante unleashed a powerful blast of darkness, knocking the priest off his feet.

Dante ran past the fallen priest and out of the cave, escaping into the forest once more.

He knew that he couldn't stay in one place for long, not with the priest hot on his heels. But he also knew that he couldn't keep running forever.

Dante gritted his teeth and prepared himself for the fight to come. He would have to face this priest of light if he wanted to escape.
