Jealous

Julia POV

They had gone and I was there only one in the mansion, although Mia and Erastus were around. There were no interesting movies on the television, and it made me have a headache and there wasn't anything interesting on social media.

I went to the pool and sat down with my legs in the water. I loved the feeling of the cold water on my legs. Just then, Erastus came and sat beside me with his legs in the water.

"Just love the feeling of your legs in the water?" He asked but I ignored him.

"Why are you always ignoring me? You like Shawn, right? Or is it because he's got cash while I've got nothing?"

"Don't think I'm like other ladies that chase guys because of their money," I replied.

"Then at least pay attention to me." He said pouting and I smiled.

"Am I not giving you attention now?"

"Yeah, you're and I'm grateful for that."

"So? What do you want?" I asked.

"Uhm... I don't know how it will sound to your ears, but I liked you the very moment I set my eyes on you. Can you please be my girlfriend?" He asked and I scoffed.

"Is that a joke or what? Do I look so cheap to you?" If Mr. Shawn asks me to be his girlfriend, I'll turn him down, talk less of you."

"You don't like Shawn?" He asked.

"We just met," I replied.

"But it has been one week, isn't it?. Well, there's no big deal about that. My dad met my mom and within one week, they were in a relationship. They married one month later and till now, they are still together. Love exists, don't think there's nothing like love. Till now, they are still love birds."

"So, why aren't you in a relationship?"

"I've not found the right lady." He replied.

"If you don't wanna be my girlfriend, can we be friends?" He asked.

"Give me time to think about it," I replied.

"What's there to think about?" He asked and I shrugged.

"Do you want to swim?" He asked changing the topic.

"I can't swim."

"I will teach you."

"No, thanks. Some other time. I replied and he took off his shirt and trousers and dived into the water making it splash on me.

"Hey," I called as I cleaned the water from my face. He was swimming and stayed underwater for about two minutes.

"Wow!" I exclaimed, "How did you do that?" I asked flabbergasted.

"It is easy. You just hold your breath while you're in the water." He said as he swam towards me and held my feet.

"Don't you dare drag me into the water, else I will skin you alive." I threatened.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" He asked.

"Has anyone ever told you how ugly you're?" I replied but he laughed it off. I just said it because I wanted to shut him up.

"How old are you?" I asked

"I'm thirty-three, and you?"

"Wow!" I exclaimed. "You look too young for your age."

"You're impressed?"

"Yeah, I am," I replied and he grinned at me. He looked too young for his age. I thought I was older than him.

"Are Ciara and her twin your kids?" He asked and I nodded.

"They're beautiful, but not as beautiful as you, their mom." He said.

"I've stayed here for a long time, I need to go back inside."

"Did I say anything wrong? I'm sorry if I did."

"No, you didn't say anything wrong," I replied and made to stand up, but he pulled me into the pool and I screamed.

"Are you out of your mind?" I asked

"I want to teach you how to swim. It might be useful to you someday."

"I'm not interested, didn't I tell you earlier?"

He ignored me and took me to the deepest part of the pool, all the while, his hand was wrapped around my waist.

"Remove your hands from my waist."

"If I do, you are likely to drown." He replied.

"Then take me back to the shallow part of the water."

"Promise me you won't run away."

"I won't," I replied. Then he took me to the shallow part of the pool.

"Son of a bit***." I cursed as I tried to climb out of the pool, but he held me back, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist.

"Your grip on me is too tight, let go of me for crying out loud," I said and he chuckled.

"You're pretty." He said as he began to caress my face and I felt disgusted.

"Stop it, I don't like it, "I said but he ignored me. He leaned me against the wall of the pool, attempting to kiss me but I faced the other way.

"You won't get away with this, I promise," I said as I pushed him away from me while I quickly climbed up the pool and went straight to my room to dry myself up as water was dripping from my hair. I took a shower and wrapped a towel around me, just then, Shawn came in without knocking. What the hell! How and when did he come back?

Shawn POV

I came back from the hospital quite earlier than I had expected. The doctor has already removed the tracker and prescribed a drug for her.

The doctor discovered that there were wounds on the girl's private part meaning she had been raped severally by either Anas or his counterparts. I was really angry when I heard that and I swore that I would have every one of them killed, none will be spared. I can't imagine the kind of trauma she'll be going through, no wonder she says Julia so much, but it isn't Julia's fault.

I laid her on my bed for she was sleeping and closed the door gently. I then went to Julia's room, but she wasn't there."

"Julia, "I called but got no response. Where was she then?

Just then, I heard someone scream and water splash. I told Oscar to look after Julia but he was nowhere to be found. I ran outside towards the pool then I stopped right in my tracks.

Erastus' arm was wrapped around Julia's waist and she didn't struggle out of his grip.

"Does that mean they're in a relationship?" I asked myself. I felt a pang of jealousy but I couldn't leave. He caressed her face,

"oh my goodness!" I exclaimed. I felt like charging in on them and hitting him in the face, but I had to control myself as she might hate me if I do that, then I saw his mouth descend to hers. I couldn't take it any longer...
