Episode 1- Teaching a class of students

"Haaaaaa!"

Shito let out a long and heavy sigh.

Walking up the stairs of the school that was located at the farthest end of the office. He had to become a teacher at the school. Even without his omniscient ability, he was still one of the smartest beings in the world, slightly lower than those who are close to omniscience.

Snapping his fingers, Shito's outfit changed from the school uniform that he was wearing to a solid jet-black button-up shirt with a pair of white trousers, and he was also wearing black shoes. His long flaxen hair was wavy at the end and was tied up into a ponytail.

Although he was a seventeen-year-old boy… he was slightly shorter than the average male, and he could forcibly grow his body, but he didn't want to get any taller at the moment. After all, he was still a high school student so there was no need for him to grow up any faster.

Shito arrived in front of his classroom door and just stared at the huge door. The rooms on the floor where he currently resides had the fanciest rooms even better than the classrooms on the bottom floor.

…Well, I guess this is going to be the class I'm going to be teaching for the rest of the school year…. That is if I don't decide to leave the school.

Grabbing the doorknob to the classroom door, Shito begins twisting the knob, opening the door. After opening the door, he slowly begins walking inside the classroom.

With every single step he took, the sounds of his dress shoes clicking on the floor were heard loudly. There was pressure radiating from his body, making the sounds of his shoes echo throughout the entire school.

But he quickly came to a stop before he could reach his desk on the farthest side of the room.

He took another step, and the whole school began to shake. If he kept releasing the pressure from his body, then the whole academy was going to be destroyed.

After a while, he stopped releasing his pressure and walked to the blackboard that was in the front of the classroom, while Lemore Academy TAA students sank into silence.

About every reaction from the students was the same.

Every student recognized him because he beat the strongest student in the class, but they didn't understand why he was in the classroom, and they were scared of the pressure he was releasing.

However, Tenka, Lucia, Lilith, and the twins' reactions were totally different. They were smiling brightly because they had already guessed the reason for him being there. After all, he was not dressed in a school uniform like everyone else in the classroom is, not only that he doesn't have the blue cape.

Shito grabbed the piece of chalk that was on the blackboard and started writing on the board. His hands were so fast that calls could barely see what he was writing.

'Shito Mahinu'

Those were the words that were written on the board. The words were big enough so that the whole class could see them clearly.

"Hello class, my name is Shito Mahinu, and I'm going to be your teacher for the rest of the year. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Huh? Our new teacher….?! How could that be possible!? Aren't you about the same age as us!?"

Some of the students couldn't understand the reason behind his sudden statement, he was a student who was about the same age as them, with the second and third years in the class being older than him by a year or two.

However, most of the second and third-year students understood every word that came out of their mouths, and they were wondering something along the lines of 'How the hell did someone younger than us become a teacher?' Even with him displaying his strength they couldn't believe someone that young could become a teacher. One who becomes a teacher must have knowledge so they can teach their class.

"How are you, our teacher!? We came here to learn not play around with you!"

A woman from the back of the class shouted before standing up, staring daggers at her new teacher. She looked like she was around the age of sixteen or seventeen. Her glossy lavender hair was tied in twin tails. Eyes that were almond-shaped and matched the color of her hair. Eyes that fluttered like the night sky. The woman, Alice, was a mage that was slightly weaker than Lilith, top four in the class after the arrival of Tenka, who was sitting in the back of the class beside her daughters.

Shito glanced at the woman that was standing in the back of the classroom before shifting his gaze back to the blackboard.

"Unfortunately, I'm not here to be playing around, so sit back in your seat and be quiet. I will not tolerate any disrespect from the students."

"T—, Tch…."

Alice instantly sat down. There was no way she could disrespect him since he was going to be their new teacher.

Walking to his desk, black gloves started to form on his hands. Mana was being circulated through his body, creating gloves that were automatically placed on his hands.

He picked up the test books that were placed on his desk and quickly turned his head to the rest of the class.

"What was the last thing, you all learned in this class?" Shito enhanced his voice with mana. His power was kept at a minimum because if he used too much, he would kill every single person in the room.

"U-Uh, Sensei... Could you please stop enhancing your voice with mana? We can barely handle the power that you are displaying."

Shito sighed and completely removed the mana from his vocal cords. "...Okay, now tell me. What was the last thing you all learned in this classroom? I need to know where I'm supposed to start this lesson off."

"We were learning magic spells with the teacher that was here before you. He was teaching us the different ways to cast the same spells, but unfortunately, we didn't get to start the lesson because of the sudden announcement of his retirement, and we were dismissed to train because of the tournament."

After hearing that, Shito's mind processed all the things he could currently teach them at that moment the information about what he was supposed to do flooded his mind.

There was more than one way to chant magic spells, and he happened to know all the ways to do it.

Shito stood calmly in the class with an empty facial expression. His face did not change, and no one could tell if he was happy or mad, but nonetheless, it was a job that he couldn't squeeze his way out of.

"Does anyone know the ways to cast spells?" Shito asked, looking at the class that was sitting before him in silence.

"Well, there are many ways to chant a magic spell. One of the ways is chantless casting and that's the most used method today because of how fast the casting speed is. Another is using magic with a magic formation, they say magic formations are more proficient than when someone uses chant less magic, but because of how long it takes to form a magic circle. And there is the last one which would be chanting the spell, using the regular formulas. That way is outdated, and no one rarely uses that method." Tenka replied to his question. She wanted to be the one to answer his first question since she knew he was going to be doing something interesting.

"Of course, that would be the three ways to chant magic, but the question I want to ask you all now is what is the faster magic to chant a spell? Not based on textbook information."

Alice looked at the teacher with disdain in her eyes, she didn't like the words that were coming out of his mouth because someone had already answered the question and the textbook explained the answer perfectly so why were they not allowed to use the textbook answer which has the current answer on which spell to use first.

"Sensei, did you study the textbooks because if you did you wouldn't be asking us this question right now…" Alice murmured clearly upset about the things the teacher was saying. Not only was he telling them not to use textbook answers

"What exactly are these textbooks supposed to help you with? Using magic comes with training and experience. These textbooks are based on someone else's experience. Everyone in this room chant spells at different speeds so the test book is not something that's going to help the majority of you."

"Now I ask you again, what is the fastest way to chant a spell?"

"The fastest way to chant a spell is based on the wielder's preference. Chantless casting works better for a person who thinks fast on their feet. People who use magic circles are people who like to form and draw magic circles faster than they could do if they were using chant-less magic. People that use the chants are likely people that like to use tricks while also getting their spell as strong as they can." Illayaka shouted from the back of the classroom. The twins knew the answer so if no one else was going to answer the question they decided that they were going to do it.

".....Ba-Based on preference. That sounds cra—...."

"No, that's the answer to my question. Whatever the user preferences are is what decides which magic chanting system they want to use…. I'm not saying that a person couldn't learn each of the chanting systems, but the—...."

"And how are we supposed to believe that what you are saying is the truth? Chantless magic has always been the fastest method, even for a person that didn't learn magic before in their lives can get a spell faster than a person that uses one of the other chanting methods."
