8. First Exploration and Hunt.

Walking through the farm while admiring the scenery Sunny was busy recalling the best location to complete the quests as well as some extra gain he can get during the process.

The forest outside the farm covers one third of the village dimension. The forest is a good farming zone for players level 1 to 5. Every monster in the forest ranges from level 1 to 5. [Single Horned Rabbit]; [Steel Clawed Wolf]; [Iron Headed Boar]; etc... And highest grade monster present in the forest region is C grade.

Monsters hierarchy is also divided into 10 grades just like equipment and quests. If E grade monster has a combat power of 1, then D grade has combat power of 2 i.e. D grade monster is twice as strong as an E grade monster. C grade monster has combat power of 4, B- 8 CP(combat power), ....., Entity- 512 CP.

When a player slays a same level monster the Exp gained are varied according to the grades. E- 2 to 4% Exp; D- 4 to 8% Exp; C- 8 to 16%; B- 16 to 32%; A- 32 to 64%; S- 64 to 128%; SS- 128 to 256%; SSS- 256 to 512%; Pseudo-Entity- 512 to 1024%; Entity- 1024+%.

If the level of the monster is lower than that of the player, then the Exp gain will be divided by 10. When monster level exceeds the level of the player by 2-5, then Exp gain will be 2 times the default. If the monster level exceeds the level of the player by 6-15, then Exp gain will be 3 times the default. If the difference between levels is 16-30 then the Exp gained will be 5 times of the default gain. If level gap exceeds by 30 then Exp received will be 10 times the Exp gained without a level difference.

Strength gap with 2-5 levels difference whether it is between monsters or players is not that much, after the chasm of level 20 is crossed. The strength gap becomes increasingly significant as the level difference increases by 5, 15, 30.

If monster is hunted while players are in a party, then average of all players is taken as a reference to judge the level difference. Party is of 3 types. Adventure/Wild Party which can accommodate max. 20 players. Dungeon Party can accommodate max. 100 players. Raid Party with maximum slots of 5000 players.

For example, a party of 20 made of 15 level-15 players and 5 level-155 players, which means average level of the party is 50, slays a level-95-B monster then the party as a whole will gain 160% Exp. This 160% Exp is divided and distributed equally among the 20 players, i.e. every player in the party gains 8% Exp. The 15 level-15 players will gain the full 8% Exp, whereas the 5 level-155 will gain 0.8% Exp based on the difference between their level and the monster's level.

Let's take another party of 4 with 2 level-13, 1 level-11 and 1 level-15 players. The average level of the party is 13. They hunted a level-13-D monster so the party as a whole earn 4% Exp, which is divided by 4 and equally distributed to the party members. The level-11 player will gain 1*2=2% Exp. The 2 level-13 players will gain 1% Exp while the level-15 player will gain 0.01% Exp.

The Exp gained from quests completion are as follows: E- 10-50%; D- 50-150%; C- 150-300%; B- 300-500%; A- 500-750%; S- 750-1050%; SS- 1050-1400; SSS- 1400-1800%; Pseudo-Entity- 1800-2250%; Entity- 2250%+. Other rewards depends on circumstances such as quest giver, event, place, etc.

~~~~~
After about 25 min walking through the farm Sunny saw the raw road leads towards a forest. Entering the forest first 100 meters was serene and peaceful. After crossing the initial 100m into the forest sounds of fighting, shouting, curses, monster roars reached Sunny's ear.
30m in the northeast 2 players were arguing and throwing curses to each other. Near them was a [Single Horned Rabbit] with injuries on various spots of its bodies was lying dead in the process of transforming into motes of light particles. After the corpse disappeared in its place was a single 7 inch horn and a piece of meat about 0.5kg. They are probably arguing over the drops. 25m in the 10'o clock direction to Sunny a fighter player was fighting another [Single Horned Rabbit].
The deeper he went into the forest more such scenes he witnessed. Sunny ignored the crowded area and went deep into the east side of the forest. That area is were the higher grade monster were concentrated. As he reached an area where he didn't see any players in the surrounding 100m he started looking out for monster traces. Eventually he came across one.
[Single Horned Rabbit] (level-1-E)
HP: 100 (100%)
The rabbit was nibbling some grasses and time to time checking its surroundings with vigilance. Sunny hid behind a tree 20m away from the rabbit and slowly crept closer while taking precaution not to make any noise. When he reached within 5m from the rabbit, Sunny raised the wand and aimed the tip as he chanted the incantation. *Mana Bolt* *whoosh*
A blue coloured ball of condensed light about 5cm in diameter shot through the air in a very fast speed and reached the rabbit in the blink of an eye.
The rabbit was in the middle of jumping as it was startled when it heard Sunny's voice close, when the blue bolt hit it squarely in its stomach. *screech* It screeched in pain as blood and flesh splattered through the air. *-67* A red coloured line appeared above its head.
As it landed it spun around and gazed at Sunny with blood red eyes filled with hatred and anguish. Right away it started sprinting disregarding the blood flowing from its stomach. As it reached close to Sunny it jumped and aimed its horn at his chest.
As if expecting the rabbit's assault which happened in the blink of an eye, Sunny casted the skill *Mana Shield* and a shimmering blue light barrier surrounding him in the form of a sphere. The rabbit collided with barrier mid-air and bounced back. *crackle* The barrier also broke from the collision.
Sunny swiftly casted another *Mana Bolt*. The rabbit just regained its footing from the collision when another blue bolt hit on the side of its horn on its head. *-59* Its HP instantly went down to zero as the rabbit twitched for a moment and then dropped dead. 2 seconds later its body started disappearing into light motes.
Sunny went forward to pick the drops as he examined the fight in his mind. Except for the first skill he casted by properly aiming, the following shield and bolt he casted was purely relied on his intuition. He also recalled his journey from entering the forest till here and realized his vision, hearing, smelling, awareness and perception of his surrounding to be very good. 'Looks like along with my brain capabilities my senses are also enhanced. Lets just hope I will find out everything related to my rebirth as I grow stronger in here and richer in real life.'
Sunny put aside those thoughts as he went around to search for more monsters. He came across 4 more level-1-E [Single Horned Rabbit]. The encounter pretty much went similar to the first one. As he was wandering he encountered a bunch of [Blue Spirit Grass] under a 3m tall boulder. There were 7 of them together.
After running around for half an hour he finally encountered a level-1-D [Single Horned Rabbit]. It has HP of 150. He started the fight the same way, by ambushing with a *Mana Bolt*. But instead of hitting its stomach the blue bolt hit one of its hind leg, due to it being stronger and more perceptive to danger than an E grade rabbit. It also only suffered damage of 46. With one of its leg injured its speed dropped to level of E grade rabbit. With the similar cycle of shield and bolt twice the rabbit's HP dropped to 17.
The rabbit realised it predicament and tried to escape. But Sunny relying on his intuition managed to land another blow on the side its stomach. D grade rabbit dropped 1 horn and 2 pieces of meat. Since bolt and shield has the mana consumption of 20 and 30 respectively, in this fight he consumed more than 50% of his total mana.
His fatigue stat also climbed to 55 so he rested on the branch of a tree for 15 min. while eating a piece of bread and drank some water. While he was rusting faint sounds of conversation reached his ear.
"Sister Qian, this region so much better than that crowded region, for a single rabbit 3-4 players were competing stupidly. According to the village hunter Evans, even if all 10,000 player spread about in the forest there will still be around 1000m distance 2 players. But these sheep are still crowding the surrounding 5 sq. km. of the entrance. So annoying and Stupid."
A slightly immature and childish sound of grumbling could be heard as a group of 5 young women entered Sunny's field of view. 4 of them were around the age of 24-27 by their looks and the remaining one looked around 18. The group was consisted of 1 rogue and ranger each, 2 mages and 1 fighter who looked to be the leader of the group. Except for the leader and the 18 year old brat the remaining 3 women's looks were slightly above average.
The leader was certainly more beautiful with light red waist length hair tied in a ponytail, beautiful black eyes, rosy pink lips, fair white complexion, bountiful twin peaks, slender waist, long legs. The beginner fighter attire further enhanced her beauty. Taking a look at her beautiful face Sunny was stunned for a moment as a name popped in his mind.
'Sword Genius: Bai Qian.'
First Fight scene is up, my dear readers. Please comment if you have any opinion.
