He Was Poor!

Saranya's heart was trembling! She knew that she might not be able to see from now on but the dreams… She knew that it couldn't be all wrong!

She had seen a lot of things and she just couldn't sit back and wait for them to come and kill them!

"What? Do you still want to go on those bloody missions and kill people? Are you really thinking about doing this?"

John said as he glared at her.

Even though she couldn't see but she could feel the stare on herself.

"Don't look at me like this, brother! I might not be able to see but I am not going to make myself miserable and wait for people to come and attack me!"

She said and tried to hear what the person in the room was doing.

"So? Are you not going to the man you left behind!?"

John asked as he looked into her reports.

"I told you that I don't like him anymore and… he was a poor guy! I hate poor people and I won't go back to him ever again!"

John was about to tell her something related to him but he stopped himself and decided not to provoke her anymore.

"Fine! No one knows better than me how much you hate him! Even I hate him!"

He said and put the file back and caressed her hair. "What are you planning to do now?"

He asked as he knew that she was a lot more capable even to live life as a blind person but still she was not a kid anymore and had lived her life in the light.

"I am going to the Himalayas!"

John's hand stopped in the mid air as he was in shock.

He couldn't tell if what he heard was right or wrong!

"Wh… What did you say? Are you saying that you are going to the Himalayas and becoming a monk there?"

Saranya put her hand in the air and started looking for his hand and put it back on her head, telling him to continue with the caressing.

"I am going to the Himalayas not for becoming a monk but to learn blind martial arts!"

She said and continued, "I know you must be thinking that I am kind of a monster when it comes to combat, shooting, and beating people up to the point where I can do this with my eyes closed! You see, I still need to learn and become the best!"

Hearing all these things, John was stunned and thought to himself, 'I have to look for a matching cornea ASAP, otherwise, she keeps on walking on a path with no coming back!"

He said to himself in his mind and then slapped her head lightly, "You fool! Are you saying that you are going to leave your kids here alone? And… Did you forget about the loans you took for your so-called husband? You have to give it back as well!"

Hearing this, Saranya came back to her senses and said, "What the hell! I kicked him out of my life but he still is not willing to leave me. For real?"

"You were the one who took the loan so it has to be you who should repay it! You might not know how hard Ritzy had worked to pay them but your loan was like a giant and she just gave back just a tiny bit of that amount!"

"What!!"

She almost stood up from the bed but he didn't let her.

"I am telling you, a lot of things happened here, and… If you leave, they might suffer a lot!"

John didn't want her to leave. He wanted her to be there right in front of his eyes as she was not in her best condition.

"No! I won't let them suffer and also… I am not in the right mind! I must go there for meditation! I have to become strong to keep my family safe!"

John sensed that something was off with her and asked, "Are you hiding something from me?"

He said and looked at her face, trying to read into her thoughts but she was like a mystery, even her spouse was unable to read her mind!

But he somehow tells what she was going through at the moment, "Don't tell me that you have seen those dreams again and thinking like a fool that it is your future!"

Saranya lowered her head, trying to hide her face from him.

This was nothing new for her! She had seen a lot of things that were about to happen to her when she was blind! And all those things happened for real!

"I don't know if those things are real or not but if it's real and I got to know it beforehand then I have to take precautions before any unthinkable thing takes place!"

"Come on, Saranya! You shouldn't be like this! I am telling you, this will not go in any way!"

John tried to reason with her but it seemed like she was not willing to hear anything.

"Brother John! I know you really care for me but just like you, I too care for my family and they have been in danger all the time because of me and you know that… I have never disclosed my family to anyone but still, if I see something then I have to prevent it from taking place in the future and for that, I have to be prepared!"

"You! I don't know but you have to live anyhow and leave your deadly body to me! I will look for a cure!"

John said as he knew, however, he was going to stop her, she would do whatever she wanted to do!

It was the same in the case of her and her husband when she wanted a divorce!

He really didn't like the way she trampled over his ego and made him look like a joke in front of the whole world.

John knew that she didn't want to live with him but playing him in this way was the thing he really detested!
