Camila (1)

I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by water, I tried to swim up but to no avail, I was about to lose consciousness and then a hand reached out to me, "Grab my hand!", I could barely Make out what they said but I reached my hand and they grabbed on to me and dragged me out of the water. "Who are you?" Who am I? I don't even know my self, I just woke up and I was drowning, I don't remember anything before that, "I don't know who I am."

"you don't know who you are, surely you must know who you are?"

"I really don't know who I am, I woke up in the water and I can't remember anything from before then, I don't even know my own name."

"hmm, let's name you... let's see, Eva? No. Cassidy? No. Ronny? no that's a stupid name. Oh I know! Why don't we name you Camila!"

"Sure."

"Hi Camila, I'm Anna, nice to meet you!"

"Uh, Hi Anna. It's very nice to me you as well"

"There you go!"

"I'm not a baby you know, I'm capable of referring to you by name."

"Do you know why you were under the water in the first place?"

"That is a very good question, which I do not know the answer to, by the way is it just me or is it very cold right now?"

"Um no, it's the middle of summer and it's boiling so I don't know why you're cold, probably just the water"

"Ye, I guess so." a tingle of cold went down my back as we walked out of the forest and not long after we found a clearing with a conveniently placed rock, Anna sat down. "so what kind of magic do you do?"

"Magic?"

"ye you know the stuff that makes giant fireballs and tsunamis."

"Tsunamis..."

"you do tsunamis?"

"no, but it feels familiar somehow, I don't know how though."

"oh well I'm most skilled at transportation type magic, so I can go super fast or fly or teleport or whatever and it's super cool, would go for a fly later on if you want."

"I'm fine, I don't think I'll do well with heights"

she sat there for a few minutes before beginning to float.

"see I can fly"

"that's cool and all but do you know where I can sleep because I don't exactly have a home."

"I guess you could sleep at my house for a while Camila."

"That would be nice."

she grabbed me and started to fly towards her house, I felt like I was about to throw up the entire journey and when we finally got there I ran into the bushes and threw up before going into her house and sleeping in her bed while she lied on the floor.
