Blood magic

"why are you so violent all of a sudden?"

"I mean if someone nearly killed your girlfriend I'm pretty sure you would be pretty pissed, to put it lightly" we soon reached the camp and saw a new masked animal, the raccoon. "Um I don't think this is where your school trip is." I created a spell circle,

"Where's the wolf?"

"Oh, so this isn't a school trip, why are you here then?"

"answer the question, where's the wolf."

"oh yeah, you're the fox aren't you, I mean it would explain the fox tail and ears anyways, and the fact that you're so annoyed at Isabella, I mean there's a reason you tore off her arm, so let's just make this quick, you won't be seeing the wolf, they're creating a new arm out of magic for her and besides, I'm not going to let you kill the last person who cares about me."

Thorns rose from the ground splitting every one up, I cast a fireball but it only managed to get through a few vines, these were strong but where was the Vicilium dust, these spells are normally some of the weakest out of them all so why did my fireball barely do anything? I continued to cast fireball spells eventually getting through to the raccoon, she was touching the floor and there wasn't any Vicilium, is it possible that's she's using magic without Vicilium? I cast a fireball at her knocking her back thus making her drop the vines and everyone regrouped,

"you know you should really watch where people are."

"Amanda do you want to finish her while I hunt for the wolf?"

Amanda nodded, readying her spells. The rest of us moved on until a cloaked figure approached us. "look I know your trying to stop us but we don't have time, pick someone to fight so the rest of us can go." the figure took of their cloak to reveal themselves to be Tim.

"it's been a while Kene."

"same to you Tim."

We left Kene to fight Tim and continued to run forwards until we reached the main camp, we started to look through the tents until all of a sudden the floor started to freeze but that shouldn't be possible, the only one who should be able to do that is- I turned around slowly and saw to cloaked figures both wearing masks, one wearing a Phoenix mask and the other a black version of the bunny's mask.

"Who are you, and why do you have the same ability as the rabbit?"

more cloaked figures came and engaged the rest of the students in battle.

"I'm guessing you want to fight me, don't you,well I guess I'll fight you, and the most fitting way for me to kill you would be with the original rabbits weapon, am I right copycat" I cast a spell opening up a portal to my pocket dimension and grabbed the ice scythe that Emma wielded, "well, come at me" the black rabbit charged at me with their own scythe and we clashed blades, the Phoenix was just standing in the background, I tried to shoot a fireball at him but slipped over on the ice, that also shouldn't be possible my boots are still enchanted so they should be melting the ice. The black rabbit continued to rush at me punching me with an ice covered fist, I stumbled backwards slipping again, I tried to stand up again but the black rabbit attacked again and again and again and I had to try to defend again and again and again I kept getting relentlessly beaten back but I created a small fireball which knocked the bunny's mask off, revealing a face I wasn't expecting. "Emma? but didn't Amanda kill you, how are you here? and what happened to your face and your eyes, they're all cracked and you don't have pupils and the rest of your eyes are jet black" The Phoenix walked towards us and removed his mask as well. "Ollie? what's happening you two died I killed Ollie myself and I saw your body Emma so how are you two here?" I was starting to panic now, I understood why Emma would have a grudge but not Ollie. Ollie put out his hand and I grabbed it as he pulled me up, "The cult found out how to activate my necromancy even after I died and revived us both, but necromancy leaves people in an incomplete state since they're supposed to be dead, Emma's been relying on my vision throughout the whole battle and I'm currently relying on her hearing to talk to you, she's very annoyed at your girlfriend by the way so that's a word of warning." I turned to Emma, "it's actually a blessing that you were revived, I want to convince Isabella and the raccoon to leave the cult and live a normal life and to just stop thinking they are evil, you can all three of you, redeem your misdoings and besides I know how much you care about the raccoon and how much they care about you ."

"I understand, but there's one thing that you got wrong, Nox hasn't done anything wrong, they just didn't have anyone other than me and Isabella so they came with us, so don't get the wrong idea about them" Oliver walked over to Emma. "I have seen how much you care about your friends so I will give you a second chance at life." a second later there was a blinding light and then Oliver was gone, I then looked at Emma and she looked different, more complete, I then noticed that the cracks on her body were fewer and farther away from each other, she also had an eye restored although it was green and not brown and her hair was purple instead of red, she also seemed to be taller, great now she's even taller, way to rub it in that I'm short, all these seemed to be traits of Oliver, he had green eyes, blue hair and he was massive. "did you two combine or something." she looked down at me with an almost angelic aura around her.

"yep and this is totally cool I'm like way taller now."

"ok enough bragging about how tall you are let's go and find Isabella."

"oh yeah."

we looked around the village for a while, after knocking out the cultists fighting the student, until we eventually reached a tent where Isabella was planned to get her new arm, she looked at me with a half angry and fearful expression on her face. "What is SHE doing here?" she scampered backwards and hid behind a table,

"calm down, I'm not going to hurt you, besides I know why you did what you did and I forgive you for that."

"you forgive me? I nearly killed your girlfriend and I was going to kill you, how could you possibly forgive me for that, how could my reasons justify what I did."

"I forgive you because you did what Amanda did, you did it because of the people you care about getting hurt but Emma is here and we want you to know that you can be redeemed and you can still be have a happy life with Emma and Nox"

Isabella started to break down into tears and I started panicking. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry please don't cry it makes me feel as though I said something wrong."

"It's fine it's just that I'm so touched about what you said and I finally get you Liv, now let's go talk to Nox."

we headed back towards where Amanda was grabbing all the students that were left standing and Emma revived the ones that had died. "how strong were these goons if they managed to kill half of the students" we continued going through the woods passing where Tim and Kene were supposed to have been fighting but they weren't there.

I readied my spell circle but the vines caught me off guard launching me into the air, I quickly used a levitation spell and drew a spell circle in the air to cast a fireball burning one of the vines. I created five more spell circles while dodging the raccoons attacks and activated them all at the same time but they summoned more vines knocking me into a tree, I drew a spell circle on the tree creating a trap, they attacked again with their vine and knocked down the tree activating my trap causing the tree to be launched at them, they got up and summoned plants which made a thick fog around the entire battlefield, I cast a spell which temporarily removed my vision so I could hear where they were better and I sent icicles in the directions that I heard them approach from until I heard a sound come from below me, I dodged off of the spot that I was on and sure enough a vine had

come up from under the ground but as I was in the air four vines grabbed me and suspended me by the limbs. "maybe I should rip off one of your arms like your girlfriend did to Isabella, that would be fair, wouldn't it Amanda." I struggled for a while before managing to create a substitute spell, I then swapped places with my substitute and put the raccoon in a headlock, I then grabbed their mask and pulled it off revealing it to be Sophia, why am I not surprised. I created an icicle and was about to stab the raccoon before they grabbed me and flung me away hitting me into the ground multiple times, I got up again this time running in massive circles until I once again got flung and the raccoon started to walk towards me, "enough messing around this ends now." I spat at the raccoon. "did you actually just spit at me, you disgusting creature, they readied a spear to put right through my heart but I pointed down and they looked and they realised that I hadn't been spitting at them, I had been spitting at the floor to activate a spell circle, all of a sudden a giant fireball rose from the earth and launched the raccoon high up and let them fall again causing them to be majorly damaged but the raccoon got up again. "you really had to play dirty didn't you?" they summoned a vine and were about to impale me when all of a sudden someone yelled stop and I was encased in a massive ice cocoon.

I faced Tim, "how long has it been since we separated Tim?"

"It's been about ten years Kene"

"we should combine back together, it only makes sense"

"I agree, we've been separated for way too long and our power has grown weak it is in everyone's best interests that we combine back into Timokene, don't you agree?"

"I agree with you Tim, so let's do it." we both started to construct both our halves of the spell circle making sure to draw every detail meticulously as if even a single thing went wrong we could die forever. we drew each marking with extreme detail making sure not to misplace any Vicilium until eventually the circle was complete and we both stepped in combining into our original form, Timokene, it's been a long time since this form has used magic so we likely won't be able to use it for a while but once we can actually use it it should be ridiculously powerful and enough to kill the dragon. we walked towards where the students were but hid in the trees to make sure we wouldn't be spotted.

we rushed through the forests just in time to see Nox nearly kill Amanda I yelled out to them, "Stop!" but I had to create a barrier to stop them. "don't kill her." I released the barrier and let Amanda out, "I've brought your friends to get you to stop." Nox looked at us, "Emma, Isabella, your both fine?" They ran up to Emma, "what happened to you, also did you get taller."

"I was revived and yes I did get taller."

"we need to catch up on so many things when we go home."

"agreed, I've been dead for a day and I'm already confused."

just then a roar could be heard from a distance, I turned around and Emma, Isabella and Nox were all shaking in fear just then a shadow went by me and I looked up and saw a massive dragon, "What the hell is that."

"that's the dragon, the one who instils fear into whoever sees him."

"seems lame."

"he could kill us easily."

I shot a fireball at the dragon and it transformed into a humanoid for with much smaller wings and scaled skin. he flew down and I attacked him with Emma's scythe, he broke it easily, he then grabbed me and threw me to the side, his strength isn't natural at all, I shot a fireball at him but it had no effect, I shot more and it still had no effect, I created icicles but they didn't even pierce him, I teleported over to him and tried strangle him but he just threw me to the floor and stomped on me breaking multiple bones in the process, I stood up again and I knew there was only one way I was going to beat him, I teleported over to Emma and whispered to her, "I'm going to use blood magic to create a spell powerful enough to defeat him, it's going to put me in a deep sleep for a while so I'll need you to carry me back to Amanda's house after I cast it, I also need you to evacuate all the students and everyone else because this is going to cause a massive amount of damage, I just hope this is enough and it doesn't require a greater sacrifice" Emma nodded and grabbed everyone as I started drawing the spell circle, Isabella had cast an illusion spell so the dragon thought I was still attacking him, as soon as I had made the spell circle for the fireball spell I had to make one for the blood magic, I created the circle making sure to pour the blood in the required areas by cutting a wound into my arm, I took one last look at Amanda as I created a teleportation spell which would teleport me out of the spells radius. "See you soon Amanda." I poured the last of the blood out  and teleported over to Emma as my conscience faded, Isabella then dropped the illusion so the dragon knew what we did, he tried to escape but it was too late. "blood magic?" the spell created a massive fireball which flew up knocking the dragon in to the air, he then fell back down causing major damage but then the fireball came back turning most of the floor into lava but still by some curse the dragon was still alive but luckily he was to weak to actually fight so he just ran away, Emma then took my body back to Amanda's house for protection until I woke up.

"she's going to be fine isn't she" Amanda whispered still scared of Isabella even though she knew that she would be attacked. Emma nodded, "she used the weakest of blood magic she should only be out for a month or two in the meantime make sure she doesn't get killed or anything because then she won't wake up"

Amanda nodded and whispered, "I'll keep her safe no matter what." they then brought me back to Amanda's house where I could rest and went outside to do a head count. "there's only forty out of the fifty students that we brought here, we made sure to get them all so their body's were either destroyed or they went missing, but ten is a lot to suddenly go missing."

I got back to the main head quarters severely wounded, I then headed for my restoration chambers where there we constant healing spells, even so it would still take about three months to recover from a blood magic spell, how did they even learn to cast blood magic, that's forbidden anywhere and the only person who knew blood magic was timokene and he was split into two people, Wait we only managed to find one of the halves so does that mean, no that's not possible Tim would have told us where he was, he would have a psychic connection but he told us that Kene didn't make it out alive and that body was destroyed, that's why he kept having nightmares, I activated the tracking spell but it failed, the only reason that would happen is if they had combined, had Tim been lying to me all along? I decided not to ponder on these thoughts and went into a deep meditation to clear my minds, I then activated a timer spell for three months, when I'd be fully healed.
