Chapter 89: Confrontation of Brothers
Raven took a few steps closer. He would have to deal with Richard’s questions anyway.
When he reached the car he took a deep breath before bending down to look through the window.
There was no one inside.
“Where did he go?” Raven asked in a panic. “Did anything happen to him? Or, wait. Can he be inside the house?
But, what would he be doing there? He can’t know about the abduction, can he?” Raven asked himself as fear gripped his stomach.
He stood still for a while, panting from panic. Everything around him was quiet.
“Better phone Salicia anyway,” he announced into the dark night. Whether Richard knows or not won’t change anything because when the family finds out about this I will be in big trouble.
But, at least, I did nothing to my lookalike,” he remarked as he walked back to his sports car to make the call.
“Of course she’s here already,” Salicia responded to Raven’s question when he asked her where Gwyneth was.
