Chapter 64: Panicky Moments
“Raven, get a hold of yourself. Do you want to get into serious trouble at a time like this?” Richard hissed at his brother.
“Do you even know how I feel? I’m shocked and confused. I don’t know who or what I am anymore,” Raven replied as he ruffled his hair with his hands.
“That doesn’t mean that you should ruin the life of an innocent lady. You don’t even know her and she doesn’t owe you anything, as far as I can see,” Richard responded.
“As I’m trying to say, I am not even aware of what I’m doing,” Raven said as he slumped into a chair at the back of the gallery.
“We have to do damage control,” Richard commented as he tried to think straight. He paced up and down nervously.
“Those people are here with a journalist who was asking questions. No doubt, he will report about your behavior if the girl tells him about what you did,” he remarked as he stared at Raven in disbelief.
