Chapter 58: The Princess Waits Alone
Raylene was still shocked about everything that had happened with the royal lookalike showing up at the dance in the company of some stranger.
She walked straight to the center of the hall and began to dance amongst the other young people who were ready and inquisitive for answers and explanations.
“Oh, that young man is gone now. Amazing how he looks just like Prince Raven,” one of the party guests commented when he saw Raylene close by. “Do you know him ma’am?” he asked.
“No, we don’t know that gentleman,” Raylene responded with a tight-lipped smile.
“It’s possible that he could perhaps be a cousin of yours, with such a family resemblance,” the young man continued.
“He’s really attractive with his auburn hair though,” a girl from the crowd around Raylene remarked with a bright smile. She seemed to be truly impressed with Steven.
