Chapter 57: A Confrontation with Salicia
“Why aren’t they dancing?” she asked herself inwardly, but then she noticed that everyone’s eyes were now focused on the brightly decorated stage area of the hall.
The big, wrestler was now dancing with the blonde lady, but they both seemed to be dressed as vampires.
They were wearing black costumes and makeup, but their mouths and their fingernails were painted blood red.
“So, that’s why the music is now like horror movie stuff,” Gwyneth murmured with an amused smile on her lips.
She was enjoying the way that the dancers on stage were dancing in a mesmerized-looking style when suddenly, the man bit at the lady dancer’s neck and blood seemed to spurt out.
The guests on the floor shrieked out in horror and then the stage lights went off, just as the female dancer slumped to the floor.
“I’m sure that’s just stage makeup?” Gwyneth remarked out loud without realizing it.
“What if it’s real?” a lady said next to her in a challenging tone of voice.
