Chapter 54: Dancing without the Royals
“Well, I’ve heard rumors about you moving around with people who call themselves vampires,” Richard responded as he peeped around the door, down the passage, making sure that nobody was creeping up on them.
“Where do you get all this?” Raven asked with a shocked look in his eyes. He stared at Richard fiercely.
“And anyway, what do you know about vampires?” he continued with his eyes now resting steadily on Richard.
“Oh, I know that you take it seriously enough to forget about your fears of a likely twin brother back there on the dance floor,” Richard replied with his brows raised curiously.
“Do you think they only came to dance?” Raven asked with a worried look in his eyes now.
“Now please tell me. Are you in any way involved in vampirism?” Richard insisted as he stared directly at Raven.
“What makes you think that I am?” Raven asked.
