New Leadership

"Those that wish to steal from the tribe must not only face me, but Lord Lovo!"

Shobi, Durvo and a handful of other warriors refused to listen to Egis. He went against their ways, even if he was right.

They wanted to pack up and leave the tribe, but there wasn't much supplies left at their old home. If they took what was here they would have to face not only Egis, but possibly Lord Lovo.

Seeing he needed to intervene Lovo jumped down the nearly 3 story tall wall and landed on the ground. All the Orcs went quiet as he walked towards them. Seeing his eyes they all realized he wasn't a human, but a Vampire! One that was able to cast that powerful spell in the daylight! Just who was Lord Lovo they all thought.

"Listen. I mean no harm to you." Lovo said as nicely as he could. Although it came off rather threatening.

"If you wish to leave you may take only what you can carry, but know this. I will welcome you all to live here with me. All I ask is you do not harm mortals. I plan to turn this castle into an actual town and coexist with mortals. You can stay here and thrive and grow stronger or you can fend for yourself. If I find you out in the wild hurting mortals. I will personally hunt you down and slaughter you all."

Now that Lovo was within 50ft of the Orcs his Fearful Presence ability activated.

The Orcs couldn't explain the feeling, but as he grew closer they all felt terrified of him. Some of the children even began to cry.

Shobi and Durvo had mixed feelings. They loved the last Chieftain, but knew with his age he was weaker and not able to have more children. Their next choice was Egis, but seeing Lord Lovo. The two had a complete 180 thought with him. They had to have him. They wanted powerful children.

"We will follow you Lord Lovo!" The two spoke simultaneously.

The other warriors that were going to follow the two looked at them with confusion. They had the loudest voices against Egis's shifting of power, and now they are in for it. Just what happened? Yet they felt the same way. Just Lord Lovo's very presence made them all feel they were standing before a truly powerful being.

Shobi and Durvo knelt before him. Egis and the rest followed suit.

Xetal, Sheva and Kelagar were all surprised seeing this. Just a few moments ago they were fighting and now they knelt before him. They knew it wasn't mind control. If they didn't see this they wouldn't have believed a Vampire could force an Orc tribe to submit without using magic or killing half of them. Lord Lovo was truly a powerful being.

Lovo smiled seeing this. Now he doesn't have to worry about defense of the castle. With these Orcs here he wouldn't have to worry. Although, he did have an idea of maybe adding the Kobolds to his flock. Would be a good way to train Neasa and Gorgo, along with these Orcs.

Lovo turned back to his castle and called out.

"Hey Gorgo! Can you open the main gate for me please! We have more members to our town!"

Shortly after the doors started to open. The Orcs packed up their stuff and followed Lord Lovo inside.

As they walked Lovo talked.

"So Egis. I would like you to remain Chieftain of the Orcs. Here in our town we have Chieftain Toma of the Forest Goblins, Gorgo the Ogre and then Master Fontana of the Druids."

As he spoke Egis followed with Shobi and Durvo staying as close to Lovo as possible.

As the Lovo lead the Orcs inside they were all amazed by how well the walls looked. They all could tell how old it was and they still stood. Everyone important met Lovo and the Orcs at the front.

Egis eyed the group that stood before him; three goblin, three humans, a dwarf, and an Ogre. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a blood red skeleton and two others ignored him and the Orcs and just continued to patrol the walls.

Egis's eyes were glued to the female adventurer. She looked powerful yet refined. He planned to make her his.

"Okay everyone. With our new members I would like it if Toma, can you help get the Orcs accommodation for staying here. Bring Gorgo with you incase they don't take you seriously. Gorgo if no one listens to Toma you handle it.

Gorgo smiled. "You got it boss."

"Yes Lord Lovo" Toma said with a bow.

"Kipi and Gega. You two can patrol the walls with the other Hunters. If any Orc warrior wishes to join you may let them, but remember you two are in charge of defense. Julki and the other two will come with me."

The two nodded and headed off. They even called out for any Orcs to join defense. A handful did.

"Okay the rest of us shall go inside and talk."

Lovo lead the group inside; Master Fontana, Neasa, Xetal, Sheva and Kelagar followed by Egis, Shobi and Durvo. Julki, Atlas and Bulwark followed behind with little Cosmo tailing along.

Leading the group to the throne room Lovo took a seat on his throne with the rest sitting at a table in the center of the room. Xetal sat at one seat with Sheva and Kelagar standing behind him. Neasa sat the closest seat to Lovo while Shobi, Durvo and Egis got the remaining seats. Once they were all seats Julki, Atlas and Bulwark took up their spots as guards. Julki stood right next to Lovo, Atlas and Bulwark stood on the opposite ends of the table. Cosmo jumped onto Lovo's lap as he began to talk.

"I apologize about immediately starting our talks, but I was already in a meeting with Xetal. He is the Guild Master of Oswik. Now Xetal I do apologize for postponing our chat again. I have to finish my business with Chieftain Egis."

Lovo turned his head to Egis who faced him in kind.

"Chieftain Egis. Do you have any qualms with living in a town that wishes to live peacefully with mortals? You won't raid their towns anymore and I expect your tribe to make up for past aggressions."

"I do Lord Lovo. My father despised me. I refused to go on raids against mortals. I've found them to be weak individually, but strong when come together."

"Ah I'm glad to see someone is rational" he said with a toothy smile.

"I have a few plans, but we can talk about that in the future. Is there anything you or your tribe or even the two that followed you want? Anything I can do to help make your accommodations more comfortable?"

Without turning his head Egis pointed at Sheva and spoke.

"I would like her to be my bride."

He caught everyone off guard. Especially Sheva. She was in her early thirties without a family. Her face was bright red. Even Kelagar laughed at this. He has a wife and kids back home.

"Me?!" Sheva questioned. "Why me of all people? You don't know me!"

Egis turned to face her.

"My people find those we know are strong and want to have children with them. If we are both strong then our children will be strong. That is the way of our tribe. Only the strong may have children. Strength prevails over all."

Sheva didn't know how to handle this. She knew she was strong, but no male has ever been this direct with her. Most tend to just get into her pants or when drunk buy her for a night. Those people usually end up needing to see a Green or White mage for healing magic.

*Cough* *Cough*

"Unfortunately I don't know if I can accommodate that" Lovo spoke. "That is up to Sheva. I'm sure you can get to know her or spar with her."

Trying to change topics he looked at the other two female Orcs.

"And what about you two? What are your names?"

"I'm Shobi!"

"And I'm Durvo."

"And we would like to have your children!" The two spoke simultaneously.

Do all these Orcs only think about breeding?!
