"You are here too, Roman," Giavanna replied, relieved that everyone she needed was there to make her plan go smoothly.
Giavanna and her companions were about to enter the police station after going over the details of what happened when they saw the police chief approach them.
"Who the hell told him that I am here?" Giavanna, who recognised the elderly man to be one of her mother's acquaintances, demanded before the police chief and his team got any closer.
"Not me," everyone took turns in replying.
"If no one told him about my presence then why is he here to welcome me?" Giavanna murmured, frowning.
She immediately maintained a straight face when the man reached where she stood.
"Miss Giavanna, welcome," The man greeted, reaching out his hand for a handshake.
"It's good to finally see you after a long time uncle. I hope your aching shoulders are much better now?" Giavanna asked while smiling at the man who was equally beaming at her.
