Raizen saw the system notification. He reached level 5 and gained five free stat points. Raizen quickly assigned the stat points to Mana, Agility and Vitality.

Before a player chooses a class upon reaching level 10, they can't stack stat points. They needed to distribute all the stat points they get because it determines their range of classes.

After assigning his stats, Raizen picked up the loot he got from the wolf.

Satisfied by the skill, Raizen moved forward to hunt more wolves. Wherever he moved, there were no corpses of wolves because after looting they disintegrated into light particles.

Raizen hunted 4-5 wolves in half an hour and reached level 7. After moving for a bit, he reached their den. Nearly 10 wolves were patrolling the entrance of the den.

Raizen inspected them and found that they were all level 9. Hunting them individually was easy but hunting 10 wolves at a time might prove a bit of work.

Just as Raizen was preparing a plan of attack, he sensed a motion from within the den. As the huge shadow moved towards the entrance, he saw its appearance.

It was a huge wolf, its size at least twice the other wolves. Its grey skin shone brighter than the other wolves. Its canines were sharp and had a metallic tint to them.

After coming out of the den it immediately howled loudly.

Howlll howwll

All the surrounding patrolling wolves immediately stiffened up and started howling maniacally. The larger wolf who was most likely the alpha of the pack looked in the direction of Raizen.

'Now what do we have here?' Raizen thought as he checked the stats of the large wolf.

'Haha, now this is a challenge' Raizen thought, getting a bit excited. This was going to be the first proper fight in his mortal body.

The alpha had a great defence. But its attack power was somewhat low. But his weapon didn't have enough attack power to penetrate to make considerable damage.

Since his opponent's level is higher than him, the Against the Odds passive will increase the stats of the weapon by 20%. And with his skills, with enough time he could kill the alpha.

But the problem now is that the Alpha is not alone. It is with its pack. A wolf pack with its alpha is very dangerous. So now, he has to hunt the alpha while keeping in mind about the surrounding pack.

Raizen slowly moved back and left the area.

After a few minutes, he returned. But this time in his hands were three hares. These little things will serve as a distraction. Raizen stayed out of the range of the wolf's detection and released two hares in two directions.

The wolf pack relaxed after sensing the intruder had left. As they were relaxing, they suddenly sensed a sweet smell. The wolves immediately pricked up.

They saw two little white hares running away from them. After getting confirmation from the alpha, three wolves went after each hare excitedly.

Now there were only four wolves along with the alpha. Raizen threw the last hare into the air towards the pack.

One of the wolves immediately noticed it and jumped towards the hare instinctively. Just as it was about to bite the neck of the hare, it heard a sound.

Swish.

A spear pierced into the brain of the wolf. The spear soared through the air and got stuck to a tree with the body of a wolf.

The surrounding wolves immediately became alerted and started to sense their surroundings more carefully. The hare quickly ran away without even looking back.

Raizen revealed himself from the bushes. He was currently holding a sword. It was one of the swords he used before getting the spear. It was decent but not enough to hurt these wolves.

Raizen moved towards the fallen wolf slowly while intimidating the scared pack. Suddenly the alpha howled loudly.

Raizen saw the notification. Suddenly all the wolves howled ferociously and pounced towards him. Raizen didn't panic. He took a huge stick which was sharpened at the tip, like a makeshift spear.

Swish swish

Raizen hurled these makeshift spears. But they were easily dodged by the wolves and even if they hit, they didn't do much damage.

But that was only to stall some time. Raizen immediately ran towards the spear. Just as he touched the spear's handle. He saw a huge shadow above him.

He immediately took the spear and rolled out of the way. He steadied himself and looked at this previous position.

The alpha wolf stood there looking at him with ferocious eyes, its canines shining ominously.

The pack immediately arranged itself behind the alpha. The large Alpha and the five surrounding Betas would strike fear into the hearts of the people.

But Raizen stood there calmly, his hands holding the spear and smirked. He dashed towards the wolves. The wolves moved sideways hoping the encircle him and trap him.

But Raizen ran straight ahead fearlessly
