In the abandoned City at the hotel, they have first met Kallen parked the car and they both go to the floor they've previously used and started to remodel it

Noire already used the sword to drink all of the mutant's blood living in the hotel so the hotel is very empty except for the two of them

Kallen: Noire why do Mutants still alive even though they have no source of food?

Noire: Mutants are made of viruses and that Virus is the one that keeps them living as long the Virus is present in the Air they don't need to consume anything and they evolved naturally

Noire: I meant energy... but because the energy is also a virus so it isn't farfetched

Kallen: ehh? then everyone can become a mutant at any time?!

Noire: nope... because creatures now have immunity for being turned and there's a vaccine so you can be prevented to be turned

[Turned - the term for becoming a mutant]

Noire: but that doesn't mean the mutants are harmless because they too evolved to have stronger viruses in their veins so when you get bitten you will get 100℅ turned

Kallen: I see...

The two finished renovating the room into a habitable one even the washroom they cleaned it making the room feels it never experienced abandonment

Noire: first we should take a rest and take a bath so the first session of our training can be officially start

Kallen is closing her eyes sitting on the bed and Noire is watching over her with her Blue eyes glowing

Noire: then... what colour do you see?

Kallen: Dark Blue and white

Noire: Ice and enhancement...

Noire: you can open your eyes now

Kallen: is it bad?

Noire: nope it's pretty good actually if you think that many branches are good then you are wrong

Noire: knowing different branches of how to release energy is a demerit... unless you have a tome of spells that allowed you to use every spell which is a myth

Noire: In fact in every fiction that I have read most of the so-called master of every element will only use their favourite branch and ignores the branch that can help their situations easily which is idiotic of them

Noire: though that applies to real-life too... you can't remember every spell so it's better to prioritise on one branch than different ones

Noire: The white one is the one that can help to make your body stronger and the Dark Blue one is Ice which is probably the most versatile branch of element there is

Kallen: how about you?

Noire: Only Blood Arts, do you know the different branches?

Kallen: Elements, Conceptual, and Special

Noire: yes... Elements are self-explanatory, Conceptual is the manipulation of laws or concepts into their bidding, while Special are skills that can be found in their bloodlines and race

Kallen: Wait... does that means that the training that I am doing is on the conceptual branch?

Noire: good to know you already have caught up to it!

Kallen: then normally doing that external energy manipulation is impossible to achieve?

Noire: It isn't impossible, but you have to know that knowing the concept isn't enough... you have to have a great perception of the energy to manipulate it

Noire: and you excel on that so we should continue to the next step

Noire: try to guide the dark blue and white energy towards your body but you have to make sure the black lights won't follow the energy you will be gathering and make sure that your body is filled with blue and white energy

Kallen: ehh?!

Noire: the black lights are the elements that are incompatible with your body so if you let them go inside of your body you will suffer from it

Kallen: fine...

Kallen closes her eyes and tries to grasp the energy

Noire: (of course there is a method to expel those but it will be detrimental if you are fighting an extreme battle you will be overwhelmed with those incompatible elements and your body can't take it anymore)

Noire: hmm?

Noire: (weaving the energy into a very tight rope so there are no black lights will mix into it and absorbs it...)

Noire: (she reminds me of my very first student... though I forgot what my student's name but I'm pretty sure they are using the same method)

Noire manipulates blood from the sword and makes it a bouncy ball that has the size of a grape and tosses it into Kallen's forehead and back into her hand

Kallen: ouch!

Kallen: Noire what is that for?!!

Noire: guess...

Kallen: again...?

Kallen thinks for reasoning but she always comes back to the conclusion that it's just Noire being bored

Noire: nothing at all you can continue

Kallen: okay...

several minutes later Noire do the same thing

Kallen opens her eyes not amused by it

Noire is smiling still so Kallen continued

When Noire toss the ball again Kallen evades it

Kallen: ah!! now I know! using the energy as a kind of sense to evade the things that you've been throwing

Noire is surprised and baffled

Noire: it is meant for maintaining awareness but using energy to sense movement?

Noire: I underestimated you

Kallen is happy receiving that praise

Kallen is waiting on the highway with the moon shining brightly while Noire is on the top watching Kallen proactively

*Growls!!!*

a loud growl can be heard revealing a mutant that is full of metal plates from cars parts on its gigantic body like an armour

Noire: it's just a High-rank low tier mutant

Noire: I guess it has a magnetic mutation that prevents bullets from harming it and attracts metal

Kallen shoots toward the mutant that causes explosions and some parts of metal armour are destroyed

The mutant grabs a lamp pole and jumps toward Kallen

Kallen dissapears from her position and appeared in front of the mutant kicking it making it blown away by the sheer force of her kick

in mid-air, she shoots blue bullets that made the Mutant irritated by it and rushed toward her again

Noire: (this is just a week of training...)

the mutant punched Kallen but she punched back making the bone in the mutant arm break

the mutant growl furiously

Kallen lined up her gun and shoots a splash of ice making the mutant covered in thin Ice

Kallen's axe kicked the mutant making the ground create cracks and the mutant lost the lights in its eyes

Noire appears near Kallen

Noire: congratulations on passing your 1st exam

Kallen didn't say anything but hugged Noire

Kallen: thank you

Noire: don't thank me yet... you still have many things to learn
