New Generation!

New Generation!

It all seemed calm in a small little brick house where a women lay in the bed holding a little baby who was constantly wondering his eyes around as if taking in the sight of every single thing.

The lady frowned as she saw her child's odd behaviour "He is not crying nor do his eyes look like that of a child looking at something new. It's as if his eyes are comprehending every single detail in our surrounding. Filled with mystery and perhaps madness" as these words were spoken unbeknownst to her the father of the child had a change in expression which turned serious and then went back to his jolly self.

"Haha, what are you saying it's obvious our child is born a genius. With a mother like you who herself is a big genius, how can our child be some ordinary kid" the man laughed as he walked slowly towards his wife and child. "My first child. Our first child is blessed by the heavens I can just tell he would become the biggest genius of this town"

Engrossed in his own world as he spun around with the baby who was as expressionless as before the mother showed a sly glint as she murmured "I hope you inherit the bloodline of this trash. If not you are useless to me as a first child. I will produce the perfect offspring for the clan"

Perhaps the man heard her or not. He simply ignored everything else and started kissing the child.

East of the town in another corner

"Gather up people the Empress has given birth to two healthy babies a boy and a girl" a royal guard stood in the middle of the busy royal market. "In celebration of this Emperor Vaan has allowed one year of no tax and there will be a massive banquet. Everyone is allowed to attend. Perhaps if you are lucky you would even be able to see our two little lords. It is said they are blessed by the heavens and even caused the old Human God to give them his blessing. Our human race is blessed by two future Human Gods who will be the biggest pillar of humanity." his words caused an uproar in the surrounding as poor and rich alike cheered their lord's name.

North of the Town in another corner

"My ladies and Lords today is considered a blessed day. Our Vampire Empress has given birth to a pure-blooded girl. The ancestors of the old have said the child's blood is even purer than our first great ancestor Dracula. Rejoice, my lords and ladies. Our time to dominate has come again. Our young Duchess will bring in a New Era. We will be able to leave this mortal realm and enter the heavenly realm. All these humans and other races that look down on us will be grovelling in our feet" What followed were laughter. Sinister laughter as the whole city reeked of fresh blood. Tonight was the night of blood a night to drink.

South of the town in another corner

"Omg!!! is that the legendary recognition of the great elven Ancestor? How many years has it been since it was activated" a female white-skinned last with pointy ear said

"This.....The last time it was the Emperor Vamir our current emperor but that recognition lasted a mere second. This is different this is much larger and brighter. Emperor Faye and Emperor Vamir's child is born there and the light came from there" a burly man with a thick voice said yet everyone could hear total shock and excitement in his voice. They all felt the same and for good reason.

"A new Great Ancestor rises from our elve race. Hahaha, a new Great Ancestor!!!! Finally, we won't have to live like weaklings. It has been thousands of years since we witnessed our last great king. This calls for a celebration. Let's all celebrate" all of a sudden the whole atmosphere turned for the better. It was as if a new life was blown into them.

West of the town in another corner

"Roarrrrrrr!!!!!!!" the whole west shook from a scream of an ancient beast.

"I...Isn't that the last dormant remnant of ancient dragon Ancestor Alludin. How....how can it come to life?" a little beast-man wondered. He had whiskers on his face and a lions mane. He was clearly from the lion clan.

"It's said that only when another ancient Ancestor is born the last remnant will bless it with its heavenly powers and help in his cultivation. Look the place is where Emperor Omos and Empress Aindy's children are born." someone from the tiger clan pointed.

"Does that mean our new Little King and Queen have the potential of that of ancient Ancestor Alludin? This.....I have no words to describe how happy I am" tears started to run down from the young last from the leopard clan.

"We won't have to live in persecution anymore. We have someone capable of bringing to the new Era!!!" the screams and howls reverberated across the valley surrounded by tall mountains.

Unbeknownst to them, all the fates of all these geniuses and many more were tied to one person. All the threads came to join at the small town that little Grimm was born to. If one had the ability to see fate they would exclaim in surprise at the number of fates connected to this little kid.

Whether these fates led to something good or bad was a complete mystery.

The child opened his eyes once again to see a large face staring at him. The man had a rough-looking appearance and smiled a lot when he saw the little baby open its eyes.

"Hello, there my lovely little Grimm. It seems your first day out of the womb has not made you tired at all. Oh wow, you don't even cry you poor little thing" for some reason even tho the baby could not understand a single word the last words spoken by his father felt to be rather painful.

The first day the first thing he experienced in his life was pain and guilt a feeling he was not familiar with at all but would soon come to know.

Grimm could not tell what was good or bad but it was said once by an elderly scholar that babies are able to tell if someone truly cares about them. For this instance the first day of his new life he felt the rough-looking man cared deeply for him compared to the smiling women that lay next to him who felt rather cold and distant. At least that's what it felt to the baby.

The little one soon closed his eyes and entered into deep slumber. The year's to come would forge a new path for him even if he does not realise it at this moment.

*One year later*

Grimm was now a year old and to his parent's surprise was already able to walk at 3 months. He started to learn how to speak at 8 months and became able to use basics speech at 1. However, the expressionless face of his never changed.

As they had said before the child was a genius and many at the little town of Balek agreed as well. Kain the father of Grimm was quite a famous person in the Balek town as A hunter who hunted magical beasts for pellets and other resources to provide the town with it. In this world there were cultivators and Practically everyone was a cultivator. Even if their cultivation wasn't high the first level of the realm was obtained by many just to strengthen their body.

Grimm who was already able to do things that would take newborn kids at least 2 years was already being taught some common knowledge about how the world worked.

Every single lesson his mother gave him she always put a smile on but Grimm remained as expressionless as ever. Speaking of his mother she still felt the same way he felt her on the very first day. It was as if her smile was just too out on a mere facade as if he had to somehow to earn her affection. Him being expressionless had piqued here interest a tiny bit at the start but she gave up. His father, however, he would at times see him showing guilt and sadness but it was truly covered up.

Grimm never really spoke much either. When neighbours and others came to visit they were always presented by an expressionless Grimm who didn't smile or show any affection. It was as if looking at a ghost who didn't care about anything else. Hence he earned many horrible nicknames from other kids. Calling him devil, Cold-Blooded, wooden, deadboy etc. However, he didn't mind at all.

Those adults thought he probably doesn't get the meaning behind these words or is too young nonetheless he just didn't care. It was not as if Grimm didn't want to show emotion but it was what he felt natural to him. It was like something inside him wanted him to be this way. He felt if he let his emotions out something horrible would come out.

Moving on Grimm gathered his thoughts as he was sitting on a table in front of his mother who was waiting for his reply "Tell me what are the levels of cultivations and what it means to be a cultivator?" she questioned raising an eyebrow

Grimm didn't hesitate and looked her in the eyes with a blank look "Cultivators are those that are able to access their Qi and spirituality. They walk on the path of kings and Queens. Forging their own path in the midst of it. Only true geniuses can trample over the rest to become the best" this was what his mother had taught him day and night. To others, it might be been a wrong way of thinking but this was how his mother was.

To others, she might be sweet and friendly but she was actually a violent person who loved to show her strength. "There are 11 known cultivation realms known to man yet. From lowest to highest each involved 10 levels at the start. Realm of Mortal, Realm of martial Artist, Realm of martial Scholar, Lord plane, noble plane, Sage plans, Saint plane, Ancestor, True elemental, True Immortal and heavenly immortal. These are what are known to man with the emperors and empress being in the ancestor plane. It is said once you achieve true elemental you can enter the higher planer world of heaven and hell. So far for 1000s of years, no one has done it" this was all that his mother had taught him every day and gave him a little test to see if he could really pass it.

"Good very good my little boy you've done well but you missed out on the bloodline realms that are given to humans and other races alike." her smile was brief before turning into a frown. Of course, Grimm would forget certain things he was after all a 1-year-old child who was already a monstrous genius for being able to answer everything but her mother never seemed to be satisfied.

Touching her belly she smiled for what Grimm would consider being the very first genuine smile he had ever seen. "I can feel it the twins that are yet to be born have inherited his bloodline." completely ignoring her child sitting in front of him. Perhaps she thought since he was just a child he wouldn't care.

But fate plays in mysterious ways. Just because he couldn't express himself and didn't talk much didn't mean he didn't listen and paid attention to everything. Ever since coming to his senses Grimm knew he was very different from other kids but he didn't know what.

Soon the second year of his life would begin and new life would be given birth. His official class for learning and martial arts would start at 2. For now, the knowledge his father and mother provided was drilled into him.
