In The Middle of Nowhere

The next morning, we woke up early only to discover that we ran out of food supplies.

But the nearby market opens at nine where it is only seven now. While we were starving, we suddenly understood that if we went to space we would be unable to restock our supply of food. However, we kept the topic for later. Now we have a bigger issue and that is we are starving.

Bishal said, "Himadri, why didn't you restock food earlier? Now we all have to starve."

I replied, "I was supposed to go to the market to buy food yesterday. But we were too busy thinking about Mars, that I forgot about our food supplies."

Arithra said, "Don't you have any garden or trees that have ripe fruit or vegetables?"

I again replied that I had a garden but they were flower plants.

Seeing them disappointed, I gave them a light of hope saying that there were some banana plants nearby that had ripe bananas on them.

They exclaimed with joy as well as got a little bit angry with me.

Kanak asked me why I had not told them about it before.

I apologized and told them I forgot about it.

However, we all went out to collect bananas and came back with some bananas. At least we could have breakfast and that satisfied us. Thanks to God for the food.

About an hour later, we left for the market and came back with supplies for about a month.

Later that afternoon we planned to watch a movie. But we almost quarreled on the language as each of us can speak at least three languages including Bengali and English in common.

Arithra, known as Mr. Espanol wanted to watch a Spanish movie but we denied it as none of us expect Arithra knew Spanish. Finally, we decided to watch a Bengali short film or indigenously known as 'Natok' instead.

The next day it was raining very heavily. I recited one of our childhood rhymes on rain. However, we felt very lazy to work. However, Kanak worried about the Mechanical instruments that we found in our paradoxical roofed house. We became worried, too. So, we thought to check it out. As Sudipta was at the restroom I decided to stay and the rest of them went there with umbrellas. A few minutes later, they returned being panicked. Sparsha stuttered. Sudipta didn't understand anything and I was confused, too. Then we freaked out after hearing the matter from Aditya.

Though it was raining outside the house the sky was clear inside the house.

Later, we figured out that it could be a hologram too and the house had a roof but we didn't notice as there was the hologram of the sky but we still decided to check it out again.

We went out to see the house again. We still saw the same boundaries but later we found out that there was a secret door there. But still, it was not clear to us. So, went out and the scene was indescribable. It was like another earth in the middle of a small house. We came back to our place to grab our bicycles and surveyed the place. After our survey, we understood that this was like second earth but in the area that we surveyed there was no sign of intelligent life. The only life forms were the trees and some squirrels.

We came back to our place after spending hours on the survey. Later that evening we thought a lot about it but couldn't come to an explanation. But we were sure that things were only starting to get stranger.
