The Devon's

Lucas naturally got the news of what his brother had done from his men.

Dui,"Young Master, your brother avenged you even going so far as to use his special drug . You better get well soon so as to completely destroy them together", he smiled gently yet his smile could make people froze not with amusement but with fear.

Lucas looked at him nonchalantly," He did it for me already. They will surely now be in a state of chaos. Lets see for now...as for me, i want to rest longer. Being in prison made me lose my sanity, four walls bounded me giving me no freedom and Ansem didn't even came to visit Humph!"

Dui was listening attentively and smiling but his smile stiffened completely as he heard his master's last words.

Dui was known as the smiley. He smiles, all the time but his smile gave people creeps. No matter what situation he is in, he loved to smile. It was a barrier that he had created for himself since he was small. He felt at ease when he smiled and his mind was clear. But there were differences in his smiles.

Lucas had been with him for a long time so he could differentiate any kind of emotions through his smile although all of his expressions looked the same.

Dui,"Young Master, do you really like that soldier?", he asked.

"I do, his pheromones made me go crazy on the spot!", Lucas answered with a tone of nostalgia.

Dui could only smile helplessly now.

Lucas looked at his expressions and laughed hardly.

Mrs. Devon came with her son's meal and heard the laughter. She was happy that her son did not have any negative pychological trauma being in prison and all.

"Lucas dear, here I brought you your meal.

Dui, i brought an extra one for you too. You guys eat. I'll go prepare some more fruits okay", she smiled amiably at the two of them. and left after making sure everything was alright with her son.

After she left, Lucas slowly took up his spoon and ate the food.

"How much did you sold it for?", Lucas spoke.

"Much more than the previous price offered."

Lucas was surprised.

"Because you got into trouble because of it, naturally i made the price go higher and the buyer actually acknowledged it albeit with some reluctance", Dui laughed recalling the scenes.

Lucas slowly drank his soup," That's good".

At the other part of the mansion---

"What you just did....", Mr. Devon sighed and looked deeply at his elder son sitting in front of him with a rather undisturbed and calm attitude.

"Since we have already come this far, we can only go all out. Afterall we are in the middle of a war", he said slowly.

Rene was obviously surprised by his father's words. But got over it since what his father said did made sense looking at the situation they were in now.

"Yes father", Rene replied.

"Well then keep tracks of all the people involved in this case specially the Vaughlan family ", Mr. Devon said gravely.

"And about Daniel( Mr. Vaughlan)...", he continued.

Rene," He has been paralysed because of his leg and also he is likely to have reconciled with his family"

Mr. Devon nodded thinking deeply,"Hmm you're right. Well then ..it has been a while since we went high key. I have to stretch my sea legs. Lets go", he beckoned to his attendant and went away.

His attendant was surprised and calmly followed his master to exercise.

Rene just stood there watching his father's handsome retreating figure and shook his head and laughed.

"Ah...been a long time since i had a vacation too. It's going to be fun", he smiled darkly.

Hospital---

As said, Setzer woke up on the third day.

Mia was by his bedside and hurriedly called the doctors and family members.

After making sure the young master was fine, the doctors left one by one to give the family some space.

Due to miliatry measures and the nearing of his trial, Daniel couldn't visit.

Except him all the others were present even Roger and his father,Alan.

Setzer looked around and said," Was i sleeping for a long time. What happened to you all? Ah!! Second Brother, Sister-in-law", he was excited.

Mrs. Vaughlan, Laura came up to him and scolded him,"Idiot, you only know how to call your brother and not your mother ?!"

"Haha, I see you guys everyday but second brother? Not even once in a blue moon!"

His words left everyone standing in the room speechless specially his mother.

"This child!". She realised his words and felt something stung at her heart. They had completely devoid their children's life of their second brother thinking it was good for them. They never realised they were actually making their children heartbreak and long more for their elder brother. At this thought, she broke down crying.

Setzer thought he had gone too far so quickly consoled his mother," Sorry mother, sorry. I went too far. Hehe. I'm sorry, don't cry"

Laura quickly got herself together,"I'm sorry. It was my fault, not yours. Don't worry im fine"

Everyone was relieved after the scene was played out.
