The Apology

Zheng Zheng got home and surprised Han Bi by apologizing to her. "Bi I'm so sorry, I'm really ashamed of myself. I was so desperate for a good life that I lost sight of the right thing, I'm sorry I tried to drag you into my desperacy. I promise I'll change from now on and it won't happen again." Zheng Zheng apologized in tears.

Han Bi hugged her. "It's OK but you have to keep to your word. I don't blame you though, the times are hard but difficulties should not make us choose the wrong choices." They patched things up and soon forgot about everything.

Two weeks later, Zheng Zheng came home grinning from ear to ear. "Bi I'm so happy for you, I finally got you a good job." Zheng Zheng told her.

Han Bi looked suspiciously at her. "Don't look at me. Like that, it's not like last time. It's a good job as a waitress in a grand five star hotel. The salary is really good and you get bonuses from customers who really appreciate your services. It's really worth grabbing because only rich people go to the Junyi royal hotel." Zheng Zheng said excitedly.

"Well, I'll have to first of all see the manager and then I'll decided if it's suitable. Come to think of it how did you get it?" Han Bi asking trying to be cautious.

"I met a distant relative of mine,she's married to the manager and when I told her of our ordeal, she decided to help us by convincing her husband to give us jobs. Just so you know, I'm also going to be working in the hotel but in a different department. I think it was the kitchen or so." Zheng Zheng told her.

Han Bi felt relieved, she was certain Zheng Zheng was not up to any mischief.

"When should we meet with the manager?" Han Bi asked excitedly.

"My cousin says we can meet with the manager today. In fact,we can see him right now so let's go." Zheng Zheng said dragging Han Bi out of the house.
