After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. "DR invited me to the press conference and I can bring someone with me." Wendy turned to Todd and asked, "Do you wanna come?"
"DR?" Todd frowned, "Christian Lucas?"
Todd now knew the relationship between Christian and HG and felt uncomfortable hearing Wendy talk about him, "No, you can't go..."
"I was just asking, I have to go." Wendy sighed to catch Zen's attention, "Of course I don't want to go back to Lake City after finally getting out of that place. The Master wanted me to go and said that I should take this opportunity to build a good relationship with Christian. How can I not go?"
"HG has so many people, it could be someone else. DR should be flattered if it's someone of a high position." Todd said.
