CHAPTER VII - Tale 25: The tower of vainglory

He was a proud, proud man, and in his head he had power. His enormous ego made him feel superior to everyone, and for that reason, he got really angry when confronted with divergent opinions:

- I know what I am doing! Who does she think she is? - he thought superbly.

His individualism made him work out of step with the rest of the team. In fact, he did what he wanted: he delivered his projects late, he didn't meet goals ... so, I asked him to talk to me:

- You liar! You're crazy, Ana! - he countered.

- Andre, we are talking about a problem that you already know about! Customers are complaining! - I said, trying to remain calm.

- You're making things up! You must treat yourself! - he shouted.

- I'm here too, Andre! I know what's going on in this office! - I shouted equally.

Andre did not consider what Ana said as true. His look was aggressive, a fierce fury dominated him, the veins in his neck were pulsing and his fists were closed.

I was not afraid. I got closer, faced him and repeated everything, almost demanding that he do his part.

In his daydream world, everyone was his enemy and Ana chased him.

- It won't be like this, Ana! - he thought spitefully.

Day after day, his anger grew and his wounded pride wanted ... revenge ....
