Aurora and Chris had a light breakfast with sandwiches, pancakes and bacon and eggs. He finished fast and got up, and packed a backpack. He placed a few packets of packed food, a bottle of water, a towel, a torch and a pair of cloth, and he packed hers as she sat there completing her breakfast. "Ready?" he asked. She nodded excitedly. He smiled, and they began walking.
"Can you walk?" he asked.
"Of course," She told him, and they began their trek. There were few other people too walking to the same place from the resort. They began their tiny adventure. It was a forest and very green as they climbed up.
"You alright?" he kept asking as she stopped every time to catch up her breath.
"Is it still not near?" She would ask him.
"Just a little bit more." Chris would say, and in the end, he lifted her.
"What are you doing? Put me down." Aurora struggled.
"Shut up." He ordered, and she remained silent, kissing his jaws once a while, distracting and playing with him.
"Wanna make out?" he teased her. She hit him feeling embarrassed and remained totally silent.
"Sorry, sorry" Chris apologised and laughed out loudly, unaware of other peoples presence. And finally, they reach the peak point. There was fog, and they could see the small town below the other side of the hills. The view was breathtaking with the city in the distance. As everyone stood there resting and taking photos, he took her the other way, a bit more climbing down the opposite way they came up. They could hear the ripples of water as they went down.
"Wow," Aurora was surprised. A waterfall, she pointed.
"No one is allowed here. Come. I will show you. Our family discovered this," He changed and jumped into the water.
"Come," he asked her to get in the water.
"It's beautiful." She said again with her heart pounding loud. There are trees around and rocks. The water seems to be falling from the top, hiding a small cave behind it. 'The water must be medicinal since it comes through the forest touching all the plants on its way.' She thought.
"I know, last time when I came here, I decided that I would confess to my girl here. You should know I haven't bought anyone here before." He told her. Aurora got into the water, standing with him under the small falls, holding him. He could understand that she is not comfortable ai he never her hand go. They looked around and played for sometime, splashing water on each other. He noticed that he could trace her body perfectly and looked around. He grew jealous. He took off his shirt and put it over her. Aurora was startled. Chris stood as if he did not do anything. When she put the tshirt on, she smiled. He looked at her again. "I love you" Chris whispered in her ears, moving her hair. It shocked her. Aurora looked into his eyes and felt it for real. She stood there frozen in his arms, unable to move. She was also afraid of water. He looked delighted. He repeated those words and took her lips in his, kissing her with all he has. The kiss got deeper and deeper, connecting to each other's souls. Chris placed her hand in his chest letting her feel him. He pulled her even closer, hugging her. She did the same back as it is her last time with tears running down her eyes. The depth was too much and tangled with both their fresh feelings and emotions. A few minutes later, Aurora pulled back coming back to her senses. She was panting hard. She had never experienced this moment before. She never got a chance to begin with. Chris smiled pulled her again. He could not resist, but not in a bad away. He kissed one more time before letting her go. Chris had never had this sort of feelings before.
Aurora's heart kept pounding. She wanted more. She went crazy. 'Is this real love? Is this what it feels like?' she wanted answers. But she had no heart to go against the promise she made to her best friend.
On her way back, she pretended to be extremely weak and went straight to bed, lying to him that she was tired. She wanted some alone time. Chris did not disturb her. When Aurora got up with her swollen eyes, he fed her food, not asking her anything back. He wanted to hear them but held it in. "I know love can be frightening," he said and smiled. He tucked her back to bed again and sat watching her. He knew that night what would be his world, seeing her before his eyes. He touched her cheek and leaned in. He planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Goodnight love," he whispered.
