THE UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER

I lay down on the couch with my eyes glued to the ceiling board. So my father would just sacrifice me for money and power? Something had to be done about that.

I will be the reason for his downfall and the only one who has to ensure that happens is Sebastian. I had to protect him at all costs. He would work for who knows whom but I would work for him.

I will be his secret guard to shield him from every form of danger that would come his way. My eyes landed on him and quickly I locked them pretending to be dead asleep.

I could sense his footsteps heading towards the bathroom. It's not like he would take a full body shower, he would only wash the essentials. For a prince like himself, taking a cold bath at such an hour was not his thing.

"Agh!" I heard him groan and I chuckled making sure my voice would not be heard. "F*k, I can't believe am doing this." He said in greeted teeth and I chuckled harder.

I imagined his naked body running away from the old shower. Oh! how naughty I was becoming. For the slightest time, my mind switched back to B city and I thought about Acrane, my first crush and also the first person to steal my first kiss.

'Please stay safe until I return Acrane.' I thought inwardly pulling the blanket Seb had bought for me earlier. I covered my entire being smiling to myself as the image of him hugging me tight to his embrace on the day I would strike for a comeback.

"Let's see who pretends to be dead asleep yet fully awake." I heard his voice with his footsteps heading toward me and I could feel him pull the blanket off revealing his face.

I felt like smiling but I could not let down my trainer. I was well trained at faking my death so faking sleep would not be so hard for me.

"I think you're wasting such a talent, you should join the Bollywood team. Enough of the pretense, I heard your chuckles already." He said and I opened my cute eyes smiling nervously.

"Which of the two shirts would look good on me?" He asked raising a black shirt and a brown one.

"Use that," I said pointing out the brown shirt that matched his brown eyes. Undoubtedly, he would look stunning. I watched as he entered a black elegant car purposely for his work. How I wish that his or her boss knew that Sebastian could afford something cooler than that and there's nothing he wanted that would be out of his reach.

"Stay safe Sebastian." I bid him my final goodbye and finally, it was time for my disguise. I would not just stay in the house like a fool while something was going to be buried six feet underground in replacement of me.

Back in B city, anyone who was considered dead but with no corpse to bury would always receive a proper burial with anything else buried to replace their corpse. In most cases, the banana plant would occasionally be used.

F*k so a banana plant would be buried instead of my corpse. I hope that the nation of the state would not allow such nonsense for his son. Because something deep down in me told me otherwise.

If Senior Kang was my father then he should know that I did not die. He should know that to achieve what I wanted I would do anything in my power which meant I would survive at all costs.

Everyone knew I was fully recovered but only I know the pain deep inside my system. Senior did not just hurt my body but my heart and feelings too. Doctors might have struggled to heal the outward physical wound left behind by my father, but the internal pain would be handled by me.

I had already figured out that if Alexander cherished his son then he'd secretly send out men for his search. He would secretly assign a troop to retrieve his body whether dead or alive.

One thing I prayed was for Sentron to be a part of those he would send out for our search. It would be easier that way for with Sentron's exceeding ability, I would easily destroy my father.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Yates walked into the great Lee facility. He had an interview to attend for him to be selected as Bestow's secretary. He was elegantly dressed in a brown shirt, brown pants, and a brown coat which looked elegant on him.

As usual, he would complement his looks and not vice versa. His hair was elegantly styled just as he had always done back in B city. Every single stride he made attracted the attention of every female's eyes that would land on him.

He smiled devilishly knowing that at least he'd not lost his cute killer looks. "This way Boss." Said one of the staff and Seb froze in place.

'Boss? Someone just confused him for a boss?' He could not just degrade himself by saying he was not a boss but instead smiled taking the direction as instructed and the man followed behind him.

"Senior Miss Bestow said I should bestow you this office and she said sorry for not being the first person to welcome you as she had an errand to run for her father." The man said gesturing for Seb to take his king-sized chair and get to work.

Sebastian froze in place, first, the office was among sure to be in the highest flow of the building, he did not know to which number the flow was but according to the time taken in the elevator, it sure was far.

He looked at the insides of the office and his mind drifted back to Amera back in Morocco. Her family owned such a company and that was the CEO's office. As far as he was concerned, that office belonged to the CEO of the Lee Cooperation which meant it was Bestow's office.

He sat waiting for her return for an hour,

two hours,

three hours, and finally the door opened revealing an elegant woman during the fifth hour of his stay.

"Sorry I kept you waiting my dear." She said and I stood immediately. That's because I was nothing but a subordinate in that particular county that had finally become a home to me.

"Here, sign this," Bestow said handing me some documents.

"Wait why would you do all this if I may ask?" I asked disappointed at her actions. She had a plan to transfer the Lee cooperation under my name only if I would sign an agreement to marry her. So all that time she was planning on a way to get me hooked up to her.

"I- _ I am sorry, my mistakes." She said rushing to take the documents from me but I held her hand captive.
