A DEADLY ATTACK

SEBASTIAN

I went faster, more like some crazy coward. As I said, my determination was to survive. Live a life long and isolated. Something was definitely off with the sudden attack.

At first I thought it was the great Alexander Yates coming for the rescue of his son. Seeing the huge tragedy of innocent life loss, I knew my father had nothing to do with that. Of course I know he's a terrible person and killing is what he does often.

One thing proved he had no hand in that. The fact that he'd never take part if he won't gain anything. Of course killing those low lives would not benefit him in anyway and who would want to get rid of their own flesh sweat and blood.

I was a product of his hard work of pleasure so one thing was clear to me now. Someone had really double crossed my father into sending me to such a terrible place.

I looked at the girl beside me, she was busy checking out some stuff and for sure she really resembled a detective. "What did you find?" I asked and she chuckled nervously.

"Nothing yet." She said and I nodded, looking at the vehicles chasing after us. I saw Domain panic, "We have to loose them Nobody, they're dangerous. It happens more often here." She said and I froze in place. What did she mean by that, so she's experienced such?

The place became so dusty and I was behind it all. I loved the chaotic scene, sure enough they wouldn't drive through such a pile of dust.

I could see darkness befall the area after hours of driving, hours turned into a day and finally days. Lucky for us, we whoever owned the vehicle had a pile of saved fuel so we din't have any issues vacating the area.

I smiled, seeing some street lights from a distance. The place din't look so fancy but at least we had some hope. Hope of seeing a life support zone.

I looked at the vehicle we were driving and holy shit, it looked so great beyond recognition. "It's risky to move on with this kind of vehicle." I advised and Domain nodded in agreement.

"Hey Nobody, I found some cash within, let's grab a cab." She said and I smirked, she really was something and probably the best company ever.

More suspension set in when I saw her actions, she clearly got rid of every single evidence of us in that vehicle. Dismantling the phone completely and throwing it's contents separately.

She held my hand suggesting a completely different direction. There were no cabs within the area and all they could do was wait for dawn break.

"From here we break up Nobody, find your life and I find mine. We're gonna split up the cash." She said and I froze in place. How are we supposed to survive in that foreign place far from one another.

Maybe she could survive but what about him? My survival chances far from home were just so minimal. "No." I said and she turned to look at me.

"Why? It's not like you'll want to share an apartment with me." She said and I snapped.

"When did I ever say that?" I asked and she froze in place. Wait was that really me? I don't remember the last time I raised my voice at someone.

"Yes sir." She said and I turned to look at her shocked. Yes sir? Someone like me refired to as sir? I looked at my miserable self one last time and smirked.

"Let's leave before we're exposed." She said and I followed right behind her. I felt some strength to keep going after eating a descent meal.

Even though it was not something so fancy but at least it was human food. I was tired but couldn't show. At the moment what were we? Obviously we were nothing, definitely reduced into homeless stray cats.

My living standards were high yes I knew but it's not like I had a choice. With zero cash that could book a ticket back home, the hard headed me din't even know my father's contact.

Domain's Pov

Being anywhere closer to that place was so risky. A few hours ago I'd manage to fool Sebastian in the name of using some washrooms but all I wanted to do was do a thorough research on who was behind the explosion.

With a sharp blade acquired from a small shop nearby I pierced through my skin several more places. The area was covered by the smell of metal and some little more tricks to make the blood look plenty.

I climbed the tallest tree right above the vehicles position and waited if incase it would be located. Three heavily built men alighted from an old vehicle. It looked so old fashioned.

"Behind them was the general and only he I could recognize. The rest faces were so undetected because of the face masks.

"It's not like we'll keep searching for whoever escaped," He said pulling on his cigar. "one thing is clear, only the good for nothing highly trained soldier and secret detective can escape such an attack and I knew she would." He said and I smiled.

So even the general went out for my attack knowing he would loose? One thing he failed to understand was the fact that not only did I survive but also eloped with the great Sebastian Yates.

"We cleared all trash sir." He reported and I smiled. So the presidents son was also considered as trash? The first and only son of the first family.

The foolish general had his loud speaker on. "So you mean to say Sebastian is no more? What about Aria?" Asked the voice from within.

I froze in place, all my family knew about my Aria name. It was my real name after all even though I barely used it. Domain was all everyone else knew. I wanted to doubt my instincts, to my myself a benefit of doubt but I couldn't.

It was his voice, the voice I so longed to listen and cry to for the harsh climatic conditions in the area.

"Remove your goddamn masks." He ordered and the three men did. My heart shattered completely. It was a set-up. Everything was a goddamn setup from my own biological father.

Something was definitely not right, he must have a reason to sacrifice me and the the innocent Sebastian. At that point I could only consider him innocent. He knew nothing about everything going own around him.

He was only alive because he was lucky. He survived because nature gave him a chance to otherwise we would all be long gone or rather he. Of course I would survive at all costs when survival was in question but what about him?

Zero idea of what was going on in his life. The unmasked faces gave me a clear impression of my father. A greedy coward who'd give up on his one and only daughters life for money. Was Alexander also a part of that weird plan or was he just unlucky to be stupid hence double crossed by a good friend?

The three men were part of her team. She'd earlier visited the area with them for company and backup incase of anything. Seeing them made several issues to pop up into her mind.

Did her father expect them to die out of hunger in the foreign place? Why is it that planning for another option of survival led to such a demise? It only meant that one of them privately messaged her father and obviously he's the type to take action.
