before the world end

I wake up on the morning, getting ready for my morning routine. Take a bath, eat breakfast and get ready for college. My phone rang, i quickly grab it and see who's calling, it was Amy, my long time girlfriend. I answered her call and she shouts at me

"Paul!! took you long enough"

"I'm sorry, i was preparing breakfast so i was nowhere near my phone" i quickly replied.

"Yeah, yeah i know I'm just messing with you, so how did your sleep last night?"

"It was decent i'd say, i finally got some good night sleep"

"That's nice! you should stop doing your assignments late at night you know, I'm worried about you"

I know i should stop worrying her about this but i also got my part time jobs.

"I'm sorry, i'm trying to managed my time better".

My girlfriend is always worried about me, we've been together for practically forever. She was my first and only love. I don't want anyone but her, i don't want to be like my father, that a-hole left my mom for some hoe from his work. Their 20 years of marriage had gone just like that and that moment, broke my mom mentally.

She killed herself days after she found out about the affair. That scumbag didn't even come to her funeral. What a total scumbag! He doesn't deserve to be called my father. He killed my mom and left me all by myself.

If it wasn't for my girlfriend that supported me during my lowest of low, i'd probably wouldn't be here. She is my everything, my moon for my earth, she was the one that shines the brightest during my darkest times.

And for that, i truly loves her.

Right now she is studying abroad, and because of that we are doing long distance relationship.

This is not easy and it will challenge our relationship but I am sure we'll get through it, because we are strong.

We are no ordinary couple.

We won't break easily.

"You should quit some of your part time jobs, taking too much jobs will took a toll on you at the end"

"I can't do that, there are bills have to be paid and they are not cheap"

"I can help you out if you want to, but the last time i asked about it you said no"

A financial help from Amy would be great but then again, i don't want to burden her with my problems. She already got her problem to deal with.

"Thank you but i can do this, i can promise you that"

"Please take care of yourself, you are eating well right?"

"Yes, right now I'm eating some hot stew because it's cold outside"

"Oh yeah i forgot it's winter there. Well you have to take care of yourself please since i'm not there. Though i'm coming back during my winter break so i can't wait to see you soon"

"i know, i know..."

w-wait a minute, did she say she would come back her during winter break?

"hold up, you'll come back here during winter break?"

"Yes!"

The amount of joy i had in me quickly burst out, i can't contain my happiness. I scream and shout.

"I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH"

"Me toooooo, i hope the world doesn't end before that"

She sarcastically said that but a little part on me wish it won't happen.

"Even if the world is ending, i'll do my best to find you, i'll do my best to get to you, you have my word"

I reaffirm by saying

"I Love You"

I can hear her giggling from the other side and then say it back to me

"I Love You too"

After hearing that, i was smiling non stop.

"Alrighty then, i've got to go, hope you have a great day, byeee"

"you too, bye!"

Our session had ended. I felt a little sadness within me knowing that our private time had ended. Even after so long, i am still looking forward for our times together, despite our distance, i don't want to lose you.

I look at the clock and it showed 8.45 A.M. I almost late for my first class, i immediately grab my bag and my sandwich for lunch, lock my dorm, ran to the station and quickly hop on to my train.

I made it in time just for my train to arrive, if i were a minute late, i'd miss my train and be late for my class.

After 15 minutes on the train, i hop off on my destination and ran to my college.

It was tiring, sprinting to my class but i made it at last. Just in time, my professor walk in and begin his lecture.

But 5 minutes in, i can feel my foot shaking, though i usually shake my foot when i'm nervous and anxious but this time, i'm not.

I'm confused and i'm not the only one, even my professor are looking confused,

And then, everything went dark
