"Dom!" Kalina screamed, her voice echoing through the house as she ran down the stairs, clad only in a robe.
She had returned about four hours ago, and they had enjoyed dinner together. Kalina had gone to freshen up while Dominique went downstairs to address his security team.
Dominique's heart leaped at her scream. He bolted toward the stairs, but before he could ascend, she was already in his arms, trembling.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He asked, his voice laced with concern as he scanned her body, which was covered in his gray bathrobe.
The men standing in the living room stared at her in worry, their faces reflecting the tension in the room. Thankfully, the staff had retired to their quarters for the night. Only the security team was left, so she didn't have to worry about waking anyone up.
"I need to go now." She said, urgency making her voice quiver.
