Chapter 135 : Rumor (1)

Two days later, I began to feel restless, so I begged Victoria to allow me to go to the school. She initially refused my request, considering how terrible my body condition was. Still, I firmly reassured her I would come to see her at the infirmary if my body ached again. In the end, she relented.

After taking sick leave for a few days, my body felt so much lighter. As long as I didn't force it, I could quickly fulfil my daily tasks.

Today was a rather gloomy day for everyone since the sky had been cloudy since dawn. The mood was heavy, and the distant rumbling sound brought a sense of uncertainty and tension.

'Strange. The weather is bad, but the mood here was just too gloomy.'

I saw Sally when I entered the classroom. She quickly noticed me, but she turned her head away when I was about to wave at her.

Her reaction stupefied me, and I couldn't help but walk over to her. "Sally, good morning."
