Unravelling Secrets

It's 7:00am on a Saturday morning. The bedside alarm clock blares up, waking up an exhausted Tara: who partied all night, the previous day being Friday.

She extends her left hand reaching out for her mobile phone. "Ahh, my head hurts, I should take some aspirin", grunted Tara.

She soon gets out of bed and approaches the bathroom, when the door bell dingles. Who must that be at this early hours, Tara muttered while heading towards the door.

"Good Morning, Miss, I'm George, I just moved into the next block away from yours yesterday evening, I was wondering"...

..."Don't you think it's quite early to ring my bell? Tara interrupted."

"Oh my bad! I'm sorry, I...

"Please save it. Tara cuts in again, while shutting the door".

(That was weird, George said to himself while leaving)

(Door opens) Heyyyy, George, Tara stuttered.

I didn't mean to be rude, I'm not just feeling too well this morning.

It's alright, I can relate, replied George.

Are you on any medication? George asked curiously. No, I've not had any, Tara responded shortly.

Please, do come in, said Tara; ushering George into her house.

Oh, I'm sorry I won't be staying long, I needed an assistance with a match box to light up my cooker, because I'm unable to locate one at the moment as my stuffs aren't sorted out yet, and I can find my way around the neighborhood yet.

Okay, that's fine, just give me a minute and I'll get you one, Tara said as she made her way back into the house.

Tara returns shortly, "Here you go, she handed over a match box to George".

Thanks, you're a life saver, said George.

I'm Tara, by the way, she replied.

Oh, quite a nice name for a beautiful damsel, George said remarkably. It's a pleasure getting to meet you Tara. I'll have to run now.

That's okay, you're welcome anytime, Tara added.
