Chapter - 12 [ Subordinate Quest Started! ]

As Ash and his two crewmates are leaving for Conomi Island. The protagonist of the world, Luffy added, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp. Now they are going towards Conomi Island.

As soon as they reached the island, the villagers tried to attack them, but Luffy, Zoro and Sanji easily defeated them without hurting anyone. And Nami also fought them. However she also lost. But like they feared, Luffy and his gang wasn't like Aarlong pirates. In fact they were interesting bunch.

Even the villagers enjoyed their company. And that day, when Luffy leanred that Nami is a Navigator, he invited her. And of course Nami refused. But due to his compelling character, Nami accepted in the condition that she will leave them if they were to be dangerous and cruel criminals, even if it means she has to die.

And of course Luffy being Luffy just laughed at it and said that his aim and of course Nami laughed at him as well. But they accepted each other's deals!

And they decided to stay there for a while so that Nami can say goodbye to her people.

While this all were happening, the true hand behind plot change was about to fight someone.

In front of him was the legend of this sea, wearing an open coat, a giant cross like sword on his back, standing on a small raft, his eyes like that of an eagle, wearing a cap. Who else is it other than the strongest swordsman in the world, Hawkeye Mihawk, or Dracule Mihawk!

How did this happened? We have to go back in time a little....

As D was moving forward without stopping, Ash was sleeping on the deck. Orna who was resting her head his hands was also sleeping.

As for Flare, she was too excited to travel in such a ship. And he gave her the permission to check the control room.

As she was toying with the control room, she tapped on the weapon section and saw different signs which was familiar to her. Each was showing different types of guns, laser guns, missiles and even more unknown weaponry.

She heard a beeping sound in red light and saw that something was approaching them. Checking what it was, she could only see a Balck spot. She didn't know there was a zoom in system in the control room.

Even so, she thought it was an enemy. So, she aimed the machine gun at it and fired!

Mysteriously, there wasn't that much sound. But what shocked her was that, after she fired, the screen showed the target in zoomed view and her hairs stood in fear when she saw who it was.

It was a man familiar to her and Ash. It was the strongest swordsman in the world! Dracula Mihawk!

"Why is he here..!? Ah! I remember! Today is supposed to be Mihawk fighting Zoro during the Krieg Pirate attack! And he must be returning after defeating Zoro! And what's more troublesome is that I shot at him! Wait!? He is slashing at us..!? NO!!!"

A sword slash aimed at them came with a increasing speed and as it was about to touch D, an invisible barrier appeared and nullified the attack!

Seeing this, Both Flare and Mihawk was shocked for different reasons.

Flare then remembered that Ash said he can defeat even if everyone came against him, that includes the strongest swordsman as well.

As for Mihawk, today was full of surprises. He met someone who wore the strawhat of Shanks one of the Emperors of the sea and a promising young swordsman who is aiming his seat as the strongest swordsman in the world!

His raft sped upto D and Stopped in front of it. Then in his rough voice, he asked,

"Who is your captain? Come forward! I'm here to challenge him for a fight!"

And Ash who heard this yawned and stood up. Then startling Mihawk, he smiled and appeared suddenly in the mast of the ship and said,

"If it isn't the strongest swordsman in the world... What buisness do you have with us?"

And Mihawk explained what happened and Ash glanced at Flare who was avoiding his eyes. He chuckled and ignored her. Then looked at the man in front of him.

"I see... I'm fine with accepting the challenge. But what would I get in return? I see no use in accepting it...?"

Mihawk looked a little baffled, he asked,

"Isn't everyone's desire to fight stronger opponents?"

Ash nodded and said,

"True. That is exactly why I'm asking this. It doesn't mean anything if the opponent is too weak. So, what would I get if I fight you?"

"Are you saying I'm weak? I, the strongest swordsman? Or are you underestimating me? May be you don't know about me..?"

Ash chuckled and said,

"Oh no. I know everything about you. As for if I'm underestimating you or not, I would say no. But yes, I'm saying you are weak."

His words made Mihawk a little angry. But he was always mature. So, instead of arguing with him, he pulled out his sword and pointed it as Ash and said,

"If I win, I will kill you here. I you win, you can ask me anything."

Ash thought for a while and nodded.

'It isn't bad to make him my subordinate. With his talent, if I train him, he will most likely can become a God of Swords and Swordsmanship.'

"Fine. If you win you can kill me. If I win, you will become my eternal servant, obey everything I say without any other choices. What do you say?"

Though Mihawk became a little nervous because of his claim and calmness, he wasn't a child. So, he thought for a while and said,

"Fine. But, if I were to lose, I would like to ask you to not use me for evil purposes."

Ash nodded. He wasn't going to do anyway.

Ash jumped out of the ship and stood on the surface of the water like it's ground. This scene shocked Mihawk. He never seen someone who can stand on the surface of the ocean!

"Where is your weapon?"

To Mihawk's inquiry, he decided not to underestimate him too much and insult the swordsman. Because it will hurt his pride. So, Ash pulled out a sword he now created with supreme divine bone and immersed in the aura of his origin.

But he sealed it so that this world won't be destroyed as soon as he pulled it out.

Mihawk's eyes became pinhole size as he eyed the sword on Ash's hand. It was a pitch Balck sword like his Yoru, but unlike his design, Ash's was a very long katana unlike the normal sized one, and there was an aura of crimson red arising form its blade! That aura alone, Mihawk understood one thing.

This young man wasn't a normal person. He was atleast Strong as himself which shocked him. Where was such a person till now? Why did he suddenly appeared?

"I see why you are so confident. I guess I underestimated you. But, I won't hold back just because of that!"

Saying that, he slashed at Ash and another slash as strong as the previous one he aimed at D, flew towards Ash with a Blue luster!

Ash used his sword sheath and cancelled the sword aura!

As they were fighting, Flare and Orna who was seeing him in action was extremely excited. Who was he fighting? It was the legend of sea!

And not just them, many of the people who can see the thundering sounds and lightings gasped as to why are two behemoths of the sea is fighting! Many came forward to see the fight..
