Awakening

Seichi was shouting to Toshida's face, who was surprised at Seichi's behaviour and said "What if i don't do it? You'll beat me? With what strength? Null User!"

"I SAID GIVE ME IT!" Seichi said with his black eyes becoming red as an aura of the same color mixed with black started to envelop him.

In that moment, Seichi instilled fear in the room, that sudden black and red aura scared all the class, not excluding Toshida, who was more in fear since the aura was directed towards him and Seichi's now red eyes were directly looking at his eyes.

Toshida was anyway trying to act though, even thought he was feeling fear, true fear, and said "And w-what are your words worth? U-useless-"

He was interrupted by a force pressed on his neck "GIVE... ME... IT"

Seichi was chocking Toshida with all his strength with one hand while with the other he took his mother's picture from Toshida's hand, which lost all his grabbing strength due to the lack of oxygen.

Together with his strength, Seichi's ominous aura started enveloping Toshida too and in the instant it touched Toshida's skin, the horror began.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"

Those were Toshida's screams of pain.

The aura was hurting him and the screams only increased as the aura progressively enveloped him whole.

The class was terrified by the scene and not able to utter even a word.

Even his dear friends didn't dare to try to save him as they feared that the red and black aura would hurt them.

As seconds passed, Toshida's bat wings disappeared and his screams only increased like his pain until he lost consciousness.

When that happened, the aura disappeared and Seichi gained his reason again.

He found in front of him, an unconscious Toshida with the neck red, from the chocking, which fortunately ended before Toshida would have died.

Seichi didn't understand what happened, but then the memories of his raging flourished and he ran away, horrified by his own actions.

...

He ran and ran until he reached the school's courtyard becaude he didn't have any energy left.

"Pant"

He was panting and then suddendly he started to feel pain.

The strange aura appeared again, coating Seichi who began to scream in pain.

Seichi then fell to the ground on his knees, while his mother's picture fell too, from his pocket, and was now in front of him.

As he was feeling pain, he watched his mother's picture.

After seconds of agony on his entire body, the pain, together with the aura, disappeared.

"It finally fini-" Seichi said before being interrupted by an excruciatingly pain on his head, especially on the ears zone and on his teeth.

It felt like something was coming out of the ears zone, he wanted to touch to zone to see if something was really coming out, but the pain made him unable to move.

...

After other seconds, the pain finally stopped.

Seichi felt his head heavier and he could feel as he had an additional pair of arm.

Seichi tried to move that pair of arm up and down, feeling wind breezing his head.

It seemed that he just moved some arm that were on his head and so he decided to touch his head with his hands.

When he came to the ears zone, he felt nothing but when he went up with his hands a little bit more he felt some attachments.

"What are those?!" Seichi thought confused and worried.

He then followed those attachments, rushing, and they became bigger and bigger and felt like skin membrane, while there were even some little bones.

Seichi then stopped touching the attachments and took his phone from his pocket to look at them.

Once he opened the camera app, he saw little bat wings attached to his head.

"Why do i have those? Those are Toshida's wings..." Seichi was confused, really confused.

"And what was that red aura...?" Seichi was getting more confused every second passed.

Until an idea struck him "Was that my Uniqueness?"

"I'm not a Null User!"

"My life as a waste has finished!"

Seichi was happy as if he just touched the ninth heaven.

"I awakened one finally and an Original one at that!" Said Seichi

"It should be an Original Uniqueness since i think my mother was a Null Users as when my mother died, the incident was treated like it's only casuality was a rat's death. While my father had an Uniqueness, but it was weak as it was only able to make him more handsome, which he used to seduce my mom." he thought "So i should be an Original!"

An Original is a person who awakens a Uniqueness not related at all to his parent's Uniquenessess. An Original's Uniqueness is much more powerful than a normal one, so they are valued a lot by the society.

"My life hasn't just started as a normal person, but as the brightest star that the world has ever seen!" exclaimed Seichi.

Seconds passed as Seichi realized "But what does it do?"

"I lost control and was screaming give me it... then it activated and made Toshida suffer and fell unconscious and now i even have his bat wings... Is my Uniqueness able to copy or steal other Uniqueness? I think i'm able to steal them, not copy, as if it was the latter Toshida wouldn't have suffered this much. Then there is this other possibility..." Seichi started speculating about his Uniqueness.

"Anyway, if i stole or copied Toshida's Uniqueness, i should be able to do what Toshida was able to" Seichi said as he began to concentrate.

He was trying to hear ultrasounds with his ears just like a bat does.

"I can feel it, the beating of my heart. I can feel every time blood is pumped in my heart. Every time it beats. I can feel the sound of the wind better, the sound of worms crawling... I can feel everything!"

"It's amazing, this new Uniqueness of mine is just amazing" Seichi thought as he clenched his fist.

"The possibilities of growth for me are now endless with this-" Seichi said before noticing that he still was at school since studenti of other class were watching him acting weird, which made him embarrassed.

"I think i should go home for now..." He said as he got up and headed home.
