Chapter 2- Looking for a Job

The bus stops at Saintvill. Laura comes down down from the bus. She looks around and sees a coffee shop with a help wanted pasted on the window. Laura enters inside the shop. She adjust her hood and brings her face down. She sits on the sit close to the counter. A beautiful brunette lady walks to her.

'Hi, my name is Grace. Welcome to Saintvill. what would you like to have?'.

She ask as she passes a menu to Laura. Laura looks at the menu and orders for a sandwich. Grace places a cup of coffee in front of Laura seeing how tired she was.

'On the house'

'Thank you'

Grace turns to leave but Laura calls her back.

'Um.. excuse me, about the help wanted sign', she points to the sign at the door.

'Oh, that! The position has been taken. I was meant to have taken that down.'

'Okay. Thanks'.

Grace leaves to make the sandwich which she ordered for. Grace returns with the sandwich and places the plate of food in front of her. Laura thanks her. Just as she wants to dig in, the door jingles and a young man walks in. Laura stiffens and looks at the him discreetly from under her hood. She goes back to her food as he takes the sit next to her at the counter.

'Hi Grace! How are you doing?'

'I'm good and you Jamie'

'Been good'

'What would you wanna have'

'Just a cup of coffee will do'

'Be right back'

Grace leaves to get the coffee and Jamie turns to Laura.

'Hi. I'm Jamie. You seem new in town'

Laura looks at him to see a very handsome guy who seemed about 5 foot tall with a very nice built, brown eyes and a cheerful smile that pulls you in. Laura replies with a short hi and goes back to her food. Clearly she doesn't want to talk.
