The New Guest!

Steve, curious and compassionate, asked, "Can you tell us more about Noah Madden? From what you've shared, it seems he played a crucial role in rescuing you."

Lily's eyes brightened as she spoke. "Noah Madden... He's the reason I'm here today. He is my dad who saved me from the darkness, even though he was suffering. But he still helped me, saying 'You don't deserve this.'

Alexandra expressed interest and asked, "Can you explain his role? I mean, he's the one who adopted you, isn't he?"

Lily smiled and continued, "After Noah found me that night, he didn't hesitate. He took me to the hospital, even though I was scared and covered in blood. He stayed with me the whole time, making sure I was safe. He took me to a gynecologist, who happened to be my future adoptive mother, Ava. At first, the nurse was rude to him, saying, 'This is not a children's hospital.' But Noah insisted, fighting for me, saying I needed medical attention immediately."

She paused, the memory clearly emotional. "When my mom heard the commotion, she came out to see what was happening. Noah approached her and pleaded for help, explaining my situation. She took one look at me and quickly called us inside. As she examined me, she told Noah that I

had some damage but was lucky it wasn't worse. She said I needed to be admitted for proper care and that we should file a police complaint the next day."

Steve leaned forward, intrigued, and asked, "You mentioned that this happened at Dr. Ava's clinic. Does that mean she and Noah weren't together at that time?"

Lily shook her head and clarified, "No, they didn't know each other back then. They started their relationship about a year after this happened. Noah brought me to the clinic purely out of compassion and a sense of duty to help me. I think they were involved in a project together, which might have brought them closer during that time."

Alexandra, visibly excited, exclaimed, "So, we should definitely bring your mother on the podcast! I mean, she's the daughter of the CEO of SAP SE, right?"

Lily smiled and replied, "I don't think so. Ava's not really comfortable in front of the camera. She's more of a behind-the-scenes kind of person. I don't think she would want to come on the podcast, even though it would be amazing to have her here."

Alexandra leaned in with a curious expression, "But she seems like such a strong and inspiring person, especially with everything she's done for you. Are you sure she wouldn't consider it?"

Lily nodded thoughtfully, "Ava is incredibly strong and supportive. She's been a huge part of my life and my healing journey. But she's also very private. She doesn't like to be in the spotlight, and she's always focused on helping others, whether it's in her clinic or through her volunteer work. I think she'd be more comfortable cheering me on from the sidelines than being in front of the camera."

Steve chimed in, "It sounds like she's an amazing person, someone who has made a big impact on your life. Even if she doesn't join us here, just knowing that she's a part of your story adds a lot of depth and inspiration."

Lily smiled warmly, "She is amazing. Ava, along with Noah, gave me a second chance at life. They taught me what it means to be loved and cared for unconditionally. Even though she might not come on the podcast, I know she's proud of me for sharing my story and hopes it can help others who might be going through something similar."

At home, the conversation on the podcast stirred a range of emotions among Lily's family.

Ava, sitting on the couch, felt a mix of pride and anxiety. She was touched by Lily's words and proud of her daughter's strength in sharing her story. However, the idea of being on the podcast made her uncomfortable. Ava had always preferred to work quietly behind the scenes, helping others without seeking recognition.

Jimmy, sitting beside Ava, was eager and supportive. "Mom, you should totally go on the podcast! It would be so cool for everyone to see the amazing person you are."

Ava shook her head, smiling but firm. "Jimmy, I appreciate it, but I'm not comfortable with all that attention. Lily's doing a great job, and I'm here to support her in every way I can."

Sadie, who had been listening intently, chimed in, "Aunt Ava, I think you'd be great on the podcast. You've been such an important part of Lily's life and her story. It would mean a lot to her."

Ava looked thoughtful, her resolve softening a bit. "I know it would mean a lot to her, but I'm just not sure I'm ready for that kind of exposure. I've always been more comfortable behind the scenes."

Isaac, noticing the time, glanced at the clock and said, "The podcast is almost over for today. Maybe we can think about it some more. No rush to decide right now."

Jimmy leaned forward, looking at his mother earnestly. "Mom, just think about it, okay? You're a big part of Lily's story, and it would be amazing for people to hear your side too."

Ava sighed, feeling the weight of their words and the importance of the moment. "I'll think about it," she promised, "but no guarantees. For now, let's just focus on supporting Lily."

As the podcast continued, the family watched attentively, united in their support for Lily and the complex emotions the discussion had stirred within them.

In the studio, Steve leaned forward, intrigued, and asked, "So Noah was single at that time? And he still decided to adopt you?"

Lily, her voice filled with emotion, nodded and said, "Yes, he did. Despite being single and living alone, he chose to take me in. He wasn't just a rescuer that night; he became my guardian, my protector, and eventually, my father. Noah lived alone and had a successful career, but he was missing something—family. He saw me not just as a responsibility but as someone who needed love and a safe home. He stepped into a role he wasn't initially prepared for, but he did it with such kindness and dedication."

Alexandra added, "That's truly incredible, Lily. It takes a lot of courage and compassion to make such a life-changing decision."

Lily continued, her voice steady, "Noah didn't just provide me with a home; he gave me a chance to heal and grow. He made sure I had everything I needed, from therapy to education. And when he met Ava, it felt like everything fell into place. Together, they became the family I had always dreamed of."

The studio fell silent, the weight of Lily's story settling over everyone. Steve, visibly moved, said, "Noah sounds like an amazing person. It's not just about what he did for you; it's about the love and stability he provided. And now, you're sharing this story with the world. It's truly inspiring."

Lily smiled softly, "He is amazing. Both Noah and Ava are. They taught me that family isn't just about blood; it's about the people who choose to stand by you and love you unconditionally. That's the most important lesson I've learned from them."

Steve, glancing at the clock, noted the time. "It looks like we're running out of time for today's episode. I didn't realize how quickly the time has flown by."

He turned to Lily with a warm smile. "Lily, your story has been incredibly moving and powerful. I know there's still so much more to share, and we'd love to continue this conversation in our next episode if you're comfortable with that."

Lily nodded, her expression a mix of gratitude and relief. "I'd be happy to come back and continue sharing my story. There's still a lot that people don't know, and I think it's important to get it all out there."

Alexandra chimed in, her voice full of encouragement. "Absolutely, Lily. Your bravery in sharing these experiences is truly inspiring, and we're honored to have you on the podcast. We'll make sure to delve deeper next time and maybe even explore some of the positive outcomes and how you've grown from these experiences."

Steve added, "And who knows, maybe we'll even convince Dr. Ava to join us for a future episode. It would be great to hear from her perspective too."

Back at home, the family watched the closing moments of the podcast with a mix of pride and anticipation. Jimmy looked at Ava with a hopeful smile, while Sadie gave her an encouraging nod. Ava, feeling the supportive energy around her, gave a small, thoughtful smile, still considering the possibility.

As the credits rolled and the podcast episode concluded, there was a sense of unfinished business but also a strong sense of community and support. Lily's story had touched many, and there was a shared understanding that this was just the beginning of a much larger conversation. The anticipation for the next episode was palpable, as everyone awaited the continuation of Lily's journey and the potential insights from her family, especially Dr. Ava.

As the podcast wrapped up, the lights dimmed slightly, and the crew members began to move around the set, packing up equipment and chatting amongst themselves. Lily stood up from her seat, feeling a mix of emotions—relief, gratitude, and a touch of nervous energy from sharing so much of her personal story.

The audience, who had been silent and attentive throughout the episode, suddenly erupted into applause. It started as a gentle clapping but quickly grew into a powerful, unanimous standing ovation. The sound filled the studio, reverberating with the appreciation and support of those who had been deeply moved by Lily's courage and honesty.

Lily, visibly moved by the reaction, stood in front of the crowd, a humble smile spreading across her face. She took a deep breath, feeling the warmth and positivity radiating from the audience. With grace and gratitude, she bowed to them, acknowledging their support. It was a gesture of thanks, a way to connect with everyone who had listened so intently to her story.

Backstage, crew members and the podcast hosts, Steve and Alexandra, watched with admiration. They exchanged knowing glances, recognizing the impact of the episode and the strength of their guest. As the applause continued, a few crew members approached Lily, offering words of encouragement and congratulations.

"That was incredible, Lily," one of the producers said, shaking her hand. "You were so brave to share your story. It's going to resonate with a lot of people."

Another crew member added, "You have such a powerful message. Thank you for being so open."

Lily, still overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, thanked them all, her eyes shining with emotion. She felt a deep sense of connection with everyone in the room, from the hosts and crew to the audience. It was a moment of solidarity and shared humanity, a reminder that even in sharing the most painful parts of our lives, we can find support and understanding.

As the applause gradually subsided, Steve and Alexandra joined Lily on stage, smiling warmly. "Lily, you've truly touched us all today," Steve said, his voice full of sincerity. "We're looking forward to having you back for the next part of your story."

Alexandra nodded in agreement. "And we hope Dr. Ava can join us too. It would be wonderful to hear from her as well."

Lily, still processing the overwhelming response, smiled and nodded. "Thank you all. I'm looking forward to it too."

After the emotional conclusion of the podcast, Lily made her way backstage, where she was greeted by her manager, Millie. Millie had been watching the live recording from a nearby monitor, and the raw, heartfelt nature of Lily's story had clearly moved her. As soon as Lily appeared, Millie rushed over, tears streaming down her face.

"Lily!" Millie exclaimed, her voice choked with emotion. Without hesitation, she wrapped Lily in a tight, comforting hug, holding her close. "You were amazing out there. So brave."

Lily, surprised by the intensity of Millie's reaction, hugged her back, feeling a swell of warmth and gratitude. The embrace was a grounding moment, a connection that reminded her she wasn't alone in this journey. As they pulled apart, Millie wiped her eyes and gave Lily a reassuring smile.

"I couldn't hold back the tears," Millie confessed, her voice trembling slightly. "Your story, your strength... it just hit me so hard. I'm so proud of you for sharing that with everyone."

Lily nodded, her own emotions bubbling to the surface. "Thank you, Millie. It was hard, but I felt like it was the right time to tell my story. And the support... it's overwhelming."

Millie squeezed Lily's hand. "You did the right thing. And look at the impact you've already made. People are going to see you not just as a performer, but as a person who's overcome so much. It's inspiring."

As they stood there, surrounded by the hum of the crew packing up and the fading applause from the audience, Lily felt a deep sense of relief and fulfillment. She had taken a significant step in sharing her past, and the support from everyone, including Millie, made her feel validated and understood.

Millie's gaze softened with understanding. "Now I get why you donate 40% of your earnings to ActionAcid," she said quietly, her tone filled with empathy.

Lily's eyes widened in a mix of surprise and concern. She quickly placed a hand over Millie's mouth, her face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and urgency. "Please, don't say that," she whispered, glancing around to ensure no one else could hear. "It's supposed to be private—just between you, me, and my family."

Millie, understanding the gravity of Lily's request, nodded and removed Lily's hand gently. "I understand. I won't say a word. Your generosity is admirable, but I respect your wish to keep it private."

Lily exhaled in relief, her shoulders relaxing as the tension eased. "Thank you. It's something I choose to do because I want to help, not for recognition. It's important to me that it remains between us."

"We're going to get so many positive responses from this," Millie continued, her professional side kicking in. "But more importantly, I think this will help so many people. Your story is powerful, and it's going to resonate with a lot of people who might be going through something similar."

Lily nodded, feeling a mix of hope and responsibility. "I hope so. If sharing my story can help even one person, then it was worth it."

Millie smiled warmly. "It definitely will. And it would be best if you took some time to rest and process everything. It's been an emotional day."

Lily agreed, feeling the weight of the day's events starting to settle on her. She knew there would be more to discuss, more to share, but for now, she was grateful for the support and the chance to make a difference. As she and Millie left the studio together.

Lily and Millie made their way to the parking lot, where they were greeted by a large crowd holding posters with messages of support. The sight of so many people standing with her, holding signs that read "We're here for you," brought a warm smile to Millie's face and tears to Lily's eyes. Overwhelmed with emotion, Lily bowed to the crowd, who responded with cheers and applause.

As they got into the car, guards helped clear a path, allowing them to leave safely. On the drive, Millie, always diligent, was busy on her tablet, checking social media. She looked up and said, "Just look at this, Lily. There are so many people supporting you. You're their idol."

Lily glanced at the screen and saw messages from women praising her bravery and resilience. She smiled and said, "That's nice to see." Then, noticing the time, she added, "It's getting pretty late. Let me drop you home, Millie."

Millie shook her head, "You don't have to, Lily. I can manage."

But Lily insisted, smiling gently, "Don't worry, I want to. It's no trouble at all."

She drove Millie to her home, where Millie waved goodbye, saying, "Thank you, Lily. Take care."

Lily waved back, "Goodnight, Millie." She then drove off towards her own home, reflecting on the day's events and the incredible support she had received.

When Lily arrived home, she parked her car in the garage and headed inside. As she entered the living room, she saw her mom, Ava, and her brother, Jimmy, waiting for her. They both stood up, their faces filled with concern and relief.

Ava immediately approached her, giving her a warm hug. "I saw the interview, sweetie," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "You were so brave, and we're so proud of you."

Jimmy joined in the hug, wrapping his arms around both of them. "Yeah, Lil, you were amazing. You spoke your truth, and you did it with so much strength."

Lily, feeling the weight of the day, let out a deep breath and smiled at them. "It was tough, but I'm glad I did it," she said. "It feels good to finally share my story, and seeing the support from everyone... it was overwhelming."

Ava held her daughter close, tears in her eyes. "You've come such a long way, Lily. And no matter what, we're here for you."

Jimmy nodded, his eyes reflecting the same sentiment. "Yeah, we're family. We'll always stand by you."

Lily felt a deep sense of comfort and gratitude as she stood there with her mom and brother. They had been her rock, supporting her through thick and thin. "Thank you, both of you," she said softly. "I couldn't have done any of this without you."

They stayed like that for a moment longer, just holding each other, before Ava gently suggested, "Let's sit down and relax. You must be exhausted."

Lily nodded, feeling the day's events catching up with her. They settled onto the couch, and Ava brought out some tea, a calming ritual they often shared.

As they sat together, sipping tea, Lily turned to her mom with a thoughtful expression. "Mom, during the podcast, they asked if you would be willing to join us next time. I know you're not really into being in the spotlight, but it would mean a lot to me."

Jimmy suddenly chimed in with a grin. "Mom, what are you talking about? You were amazing in front of the camera! Remember those videos of you dancing with Dad? You—"

Before he could finish, Ava quickly put her hand in front of Jimmy's mouth, her face turning a shade of pink. "Hey!" she exclaimed, embarrassed.

Lily couldn't help but laugh at the scene. "Oh, I remember those! You two were so cute, especially when you got caught on camera and started blushing."

Ava, still blushing, shook her head with a smile and playfully pulled both her children's cheeks. "You two are teasing your mother, huh?"

Jimmy and Lily winced slightly from the playful pinch, rubbing their cheeks simultaneously. "Sorry, Mom!" they said in unison, grinning despite themselves.

Jimmy, always the enthusiastic one, jumped in. "Come on, Mom! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! You've been such a big part of Lily's journey. People would love to hear your side of the story, and it would be great for the podcast too!"

Lily nodded in agreement. "Mom, you were there for me when I needed it the most. You've seen firsthand what I've been through, and you've always supported me. I want people to know about the incredible woman you are and how much you've done for me. Sharing your perspective could help others who might be going through something similar."

Ava looked at her children, torn between her discomfort and their heartfelt pleas. She sighed, feeling the weight of their expectations. "It's just... I'm not sure I can do it justice. I'm not a public speaker."

Lily reached out and took her mother's hand. "You don't have to be perfect, Mom. Just be yourself. Share what you know, your experiences, and your feelings. People will appreciate your honesty and authenticity. And besides, it's a chance for the world to know more about the amazing person who has been my rock."

Ava looked into her daughter's eyes, seeing the earnestness and determination there. She glanced at Jimmy, who was nodding eagerly. With a deep breath, she finally said, "Okay, I'll do it. For you, Lily. I'll go on the podcast."

Jimmy cheered, and Lily squeezed her mother's hand gratefully. "Thank you, Mom. This means so much to me. And I know it will mean a lot to others too."

Ava smiled, though still a bit nervous. "Alright, but no big expectations, okay? I'll just share what I can."

Lily and Jimmy both nodded, beaming with excitement and relief. They spent the rest of the evening discussing what they might talk about on the podcast, sharing stories, and reminiscing about the past.

Ava hesitated, clearly uncomfortable with the idea. "Lily, I don't know... I'm not good with cameras and public speaking. It's just not my thing."
