#Chapter38
Trial
Talus' POV
The throne room was lined with elders in purple at both sides. I tapped a finger on the golden arm rest of my throne and glanced at Tamara. She massaged her temple.
/"So what do we do?/" She asked.
/"We prepare for war,/" an elder said. /"If Dalios has declared war on us, that's the logical thing to do./"
The day had finally come. Dalios had decided to make his choice. War. If I were to be honest, I'll say we didn't have enough soldiers to face him. Sania was a kingdom blessed with soldiers. I had seen it in my war to save Araba.
/"Where's my commander?/" I asked.
The double door at the entrance, opened and Janos entered with Fontus. Beside them were soldiers holding tight to Isalo and the Queen's maid. Bile shot up my throat. I hoped what I was thinking was wrong.
