Episode one

The dark and lone tunnel we passed through was deadly quiet at this time of the day. All I could make out from the deep silence was the soft squealing of the wagon's tyres as we travel.

My body is huddled over in exhaustion and I'm curled up in a ball with my hands tucked firmly around my legs to protect myself from the blistering cold.

As we turned, our wagon swerves over a rocky bump and it's metal wall slams into my back, sending series of unfortunate pain into my life.

I squeeze my eyes shut tightly and bit on my lower lip to stop myself from crying out in pains.

I've always hated working outside of the underworld, going through dark and endless tunnels that made me wonder where exactly we were in the world.

My hands were numb from the blistering cold but we weren't given any form of protection, even if we frozed to death they would simply leave us behind.

There was no room for the weak in this world especially when it comes to us, HUMANS.

My eyes fell on the little girl who sat on the ground shivering.

I really did not understand why they made her work extra hours without food or water.

Her face was blue and she looks like she was about to pass out. I hoped for her to survive but what's the point???

She'll just continue to suffer.

I heaved a deep sigh and shifted hoping to catch any form of warmness but it was fruitless. I glanced out the window to see if we were getting close to the portal but I couldn't make anything in the darkness.

This ride has been going on for hours now and i really hope we get to the portal soon.

In front of our box like wagon sits two of the underdog, in a much more comfortable looking two seater unlike ours, it was a heated sealed chamber that keeps them warm.

The underdogs, that's the name we know them as.

I could see their silver hair on their heads and anytime one of them turns I quickly look away.

It was strictly forbidden to stare at a underdog.

They may look like us and talk like us but we were practically beneath them.

My hands shake and I squeeze them tightly together letting out a small yawn.

I was tired and my eyes threatened to close but I pinched myself hard to stay awake to make sure I don't sleep off and never wake up.

So many have done so before.

The wagon shifts lightly and i figure out they've picked their pace. The underdogs must be impatient as i was but I don't think speeding up would be a good idea because the ground here was uneven and speeding up would most likely cause an accident.

Sure enough like I've predicted, our wagon swayed to the left and fit stucked.

We sat in silence until one of the underdog came down and walked to our side.

"What are you waiting for?" He barked.

They didn't have to tell us twice, we jumped out of the wagon and headed over to where got stucked.

The little girl i complained of earlier follows us slowly and frowns at every movement.

I could tell that she was in pains as she rushes over to us......…

Want a 2?🥺🙃
