Undertale: The Scientist

"Hey, your majesty, I have a question." "Yes, Victor?" Asgore calmly replied. "Why do you have dead corpses of children in your basement, perfectly preserved, and not buried?" ... ----------- Will be updated frequently, but no set schedule, don't feel like forcing myself into a schedule that'll likely turn this into a hiatus book.

Ch 18: Making Plans

Authors note: this fan fic is now sub-800 in the power rankings, which is astonishing, because I've never seen this before, even on seperate accounts where I used to write novels. If we can hit sub 200, we officially become a "Top Fan Fic", too, which is extremely close at this point. I just wanted to thank all of you for your support.

I also want to thank everyone for the support on my new novel, I Am Your Clock!, which despite not even being checked by the Webnovel Team for it to start accepting Power Stones yet, already has fans in the double digits, which is impressive for a single day of it being out. Thank yall so much.

Author out.

"I'm actually a lot more concerned as to what they put in this, considering how… eccentric… the Temmies are."

I just stare at the bottle for a moment, then I start to chug again.

'Fuck it, I'm too hungry to care.'

I grab another slice of pizza.

Then another.

And another.

I eventually end up eating a whole half of the large meatlovers pizza and the whole liter of Temmie Juice all by myself.

I sigh in slight relief, happy that I'm not hungry anymore.

'Alright.' I start to think to myself, setting the pizza on the bookshelf, the only place that would be good to put it. 'I think we need a trip back to Temmie Village sometime.' I look at the clock.

(7:06PM)

I smile. 'First, though, I need to go to sleep. In the morning, I will clean up the downstairs, and then, and only then, will I head back to Temmie Village.'

A ding came from the back door.

I frown. "Who could be here at this time?"

I head downstairs, rubbing my eyes on the way, then complaining that I got pizza grease in my eyes.

Eyes twitching at this point, I open the door.

"3 Packages for Glyph Victor?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Sign here."

I grab the clipboard and I summon my free Septogram to take the pencil from the other Septogram. "Why does this need a signature?"

"Some of the materials in the Tea Maker have been thought to cause cancer."

'Who cares?' I think to myself, having the Septogram sign for me. 'Has anyone ever actually got cancer from those products that say that?'

"Thank you. Have a good day." The delivery man leaves my packages on the ground.

"Talk about quick delivery. It is kind of a small world to be fair." I think aloud.

The Second Septogram hands the pencil back and pushes the boxes inside.

I groan as I sit down on the ground, waiting for the Septogram to bring the boxes in.

"I should name you fuckers." I realize as I watch them, thinking it to be slightly inconvenient to just say 'Septogram' over and over.

"Hmmm, your name is Snappy," I say pointing at the one pushing the boxes. He was the one who snapped at me over and over as I ordered the pizza. "And your name is Still." Still does nothing, while Snappy stopped pushing and snapped twice.

As Snappy reaches me, I grab one of the boxes and tear it open with ease.

I smile. 'It's my coffee machine!' Inside was a classic Keurig, but with the brand name 'King's Delight'. Inside was also 5 coffee pods and 5 tea pods which just come with the Tea Maker.

I bring it upstairs and put it on my bookshelf. 'It's really strange how a lot of common things don't have plugs and just run on magic. Why? There are outlets in the Lab, why not make use of them?' I think, commenting on the coffee machine's lack of a plug.

Heading back downstairs, Snappy is already pulling apart the second box.

I smile. 'Why does this give me vibes that I am a father watching his children open their christmas presents?' I think as I watch Snappy pull out a blanket and a pillow from the same box. He brings them over to me.

"Well, we all know what's in the last box, I think I am going to head to bed.' I start heading back up the stairs, pulling out a key as I go.

Throwing the pillow and blanket on the bed, I turn the key in the socket, locking the doors.

I sigh. 'It feels like this day has dragged on for a while now, I'm exhausted.' Snappy comes to the left of my head and snaps once, while Still sets the clipboard onto the bookshelf.

I look at them. "You guys are developing personalities, right?"

Snappy snaps and Still waves at me.

"Interesting… Too tired right now, though"

I kicked off my brown shoes and I placed the pillow that I previously had thrown on the bed at the top and grabbed the blanket and threw it over myself.

Adjusting the blanket for the next five minutes was annoying, it refused to give me the long side!

When I finally was comfortable and ready to sleep, I realized…

"How do I turn off the lights?"

I didn't even realize that I didn't turn off the lights last time I slept due to how exhausted I was, but now, where the fuck is the light switch?!

Wait, when Frisk first enters the Lab, the lights are off. Where does Alphys go to turn them on?

The entrance to True Lab!

I remove the blanket carefully, hoping to put it in a position where I can just fling it back onto myself when I get back.

"Yep, it's here."

*Flick*

And the lights went out. Easy as that.

I sigh. "Long way to go to turn the lights back on in the morning, hopefully I don't run into anything in the darkness." I say to myself, reaching the bed once more.

"Finally, I get to sleep again."

'I can make a life like this. I know that that was the plan, but still, it feels surreal.'

I smile as I drift to sleep. 'Thanks, Bob.'
