New maid

"I do not understand boss, why do I have to become his maid?" Micah asked warily.

The thought of meeting Xavier ignite some unfathomable feelings in her.

"It's simple, I want you to get him to trust you, get all the useful informations about his leadership and business as a whole then you will kill him" Mateo explained.

being in power is always advantageous, with his connections, Mateo found out about an agency that sends maids to different homes either as a live-in maid or someone that will just clean everyday.

He found out Xavier was in need of a maid and then he asked them to register Micah as one immediately.

Micah shifted uncomfortably on her seat, she have heard about how dangerous the Mafia King is and how far he can go to get the people who gets on his way out.

She might be able to kill him but it won't be easy. He is not an easy personality.

This will be the hardest job she has ever been assigned to.

"Do not be pressured, you will have enough time to carry out your assignment" Mateo shipped in as if he was reading her thoughts a while ago.

Killing has been what Micah knows how to do best but being a maid? She isn't all that nice.

How's she going to blend in and all? But then, at least, it has been her dream to meet the Mafia King.

She isn't supposed to be shaken up since she is very good what she does.

Micah was brought out of her trance when Mateo spoke up.

"Three months, you should be able to get it done within three months. You must do whatever you can Micah, this is the only chance we have"

***The Next Day At Lucas Group***

Xavier came out of his car elegantly, his face revealed nothing. The workers ran to their place of work the moment he arrived.

"Good morning Sir" his secretary greeted while collecting his brief case.

Xavier nodded his head in response as he takes majestic steps into the elevator.

"Good morning Sir" the employees kept greeting him till he reached the elevator.

All he did was wave his hand at them dismissively or rather rudely.

With his icy face, a lot of ladies swim around him. They dream of being his girlfriend or even having a night stand with him.

No matter how cold he looks, Xavier never seize to remain handsome.

His sharp razor nose fixed to a beard on his sparsely stoic and emotionless face made him more hot.

His grilled gaze is enough to scare even a rat, that same gaze can make all the ladies fall their feet for him. As much as he looks cold, people who do not know him won't tend him as someone that kills.

No one will take him as a killer. He is just a successful business man, the CEO of the richest company in Mexico as a whole.

Most Mafia families stays together but to cover up his own identity as the Mafia King, Xavier chose to stay alone and visits his family when need be.

He doesn't have to look like that before he can get people cowering at his feet.

Soon, Xavier arrived at his office door. That very moment, secretary Ahn was already by the door holding it slightly opened for his boss to enter.

Xavier removed his suit hanging them on the hand of his chair before sitting down.

"I will get your coffee right away Sir" Mr Ahn said, he bowed and left the office.

Xavier looked around his office, the place that was tattered and in a mess yesterday was neatly trimmed with no trace of anyone being hurt here yesterday, no one will be aware of the activity that took place here yesterday.

He switched on his laptop to continue the work he left last week uncompleted. It is a file from 2013, he needs to review them for a purpose and to also keep abreast of the income Lucas Group has made since then.

He scrolled down as he read the important parts and skipped the irrelevant ones.

At that time, Mr Ahn came back with a hot black coffee in his hand. He placed it on the table then took a few steps back while opening his notepad.

"What's my schedule for today?" Xavier asked.

"You have a meeting with the shareholders by 10am regarding the launching of our new product and a lunch meeting with a representative from Chuck Enterprise" Mr Ahn said.

Xavier raised his head from his laptop, he took his coffee and relaxed his back on his chair.

"Reschedule my lunch meeting with the Chuck Enterprise, I do not want to meet them today" he instructed.

Living two lives at the same time is something easy for Xavier.

His two personalities will never clash. When he is at the office, he is a total different person and when it comes to the underworld, he is different too.

"Yes Sir"

"Anything else?" Xavier asked. Mr Ahn shook his head in response.

"Then you can leave, prepare for my meeting with the shareholders" he ordered sipping from his coffee.

"Noted Sir" Mr Ahn bowed and left afterwards leaving Xavier to concentrate on his work once again.

From 2013 till date, the company have made great profits that can buy the whole of Washington.

His late father did a good job taking care of everything. His company and his underworld business.

His father's ruthlessness was passed down to him, no doubt.

When he was done, he picked up the files that needed his signature before they could be given out and began signing them.

Xavier continued working tirelessly and effortlessly until it was time for his meeting.

Mr Ahn was in his office again to lead him there.

"It's time for your meeting Sir, the shareholders are all waiting for you in the conference room" he announced.

Xavier stood up, he wore his suit and handed the files he will be needing to Mr Ahn then stepped out of his office.

He entered his private elevator and pressed the fifth floor where the conference room is located while Mr Ahn took the general elevator.

Soon, the both arrived at the same time. Everyone stood up as a sign of respect the moment Xavier came in.

"I am sorry I kept you all waiting" he apologized and sat down, the rest followed suit.

"Without wasting much of our time, I will go straight to what brought us here. As you all are aware, a new drink was made by the beverage department of which I am sure each and everyone of you have had a taste of it,

The drink will be launched this week Friday and I want to have your honest opinions on it to know if it should be improved before being launched to the public" Xavier revealed searching their faces for answers.

"From my own point of view, I think the drink is good enough for distribution. The beverage department did a good job and so there is no error, I am giving it a five star rating" one of them commented.

The rest agreed with him with a smile of satisfaction on their faces.

Xavier nodded his head in response.

"Since the drink is good, we can go ahead and launch it, is there anything else anyone wants us to talk about?" He questioned.

"Then we have come to the end of today's meeting, thank you for your time." that said, he stood up and left the conference room with his secretary following closely behind him.

"To my office right away" he ordered then entered into his elevator without waiting for a reply.

Soon, he was in his office, he has so much work that needs to be done today before leaving.

"You called for me Sir" Mr Ahn reminded.

"Yes, I am done signing this files, you can take them with you. No one should enter my office unless I request for them, I am busy"

"Yes Sir"

★ Hours Later★

Xavier came out of his elevator, he look a bit worn out from working all day.

He stayed back for sometimes even when it was closing hour.

His driver opened the back door for him, he entered and sat down while checking through his phone.

His house is just a few minutes drive from the company which made it easier for them to arrive after ten minutes.

The huge iron gate automatically opened itself, the driver park up at the garage.

Xavier didn't wait for him to get the door opened for him, all he needed at that time was a good sleep.

Him and his boys has a work to take care of in the night or rather, he needs to give them instructions.

When he stepped into the living room, Xavier saw a figure comfortably seated on his sofa.

He shot her a confused look the moment she noticed him entering into the house.

No one enters into his mansion but it seems like she has been here for hours. Xavier couldn't point to the exact reason why an unknown girl is in his house.

With a frown on his face, he stared blankly at her expecting her to explain the reason of her being here.

She jumped up on cue with a respectful bow, her hands folded in front of her timidly without staring at his face, she spoke up.

"Good evening Sir, I am Micah Davon, your new maid"
