Partings and Meetings

The happy dragon couple reached the outskirts of the town of Goldshire, and entered the small town, they walked along the streets while taking in the sights.

The town had a peaceful atmosphere, it was filled with people coming and going, because it was so close from Stormwind City it became one of the most popular stops on the way to the south.

The town had guards that looked relaxed, a blacksmith that would toil away for local orders and many houses for the workers of lumbermills, hunters and other local industries.

The most frequented place in the town was the Lion's Pride Inn, as a resting place along the route to and from the capital many travelers would be present the whole day.

It was at this inn that they agreed to meet, and where the couple had just entered.

"They are finally here." Said a hooded figure with her arms crossed while with the back against the wall.

The hooded figure nodded at them and led them into a room, and there lay Trag and Mona, awkwardly sitting side by side on a couch.

This sight clearly meant that something happened, he had suspicions, but now it was still shocking even after conformation.

I just gave a glance at the duo and shot a questioning gaze to the hooded night elf, who in response just shrugged and shook her head.

'Even she didn't know how this came to be...' This is certainly a different couple...

After getting past the awkwardness and surprise of the new couple, we sat down around a table and began to discuss our next plans.

"So... How did the search for those people go?" I asked Emmeral.

"The one who survived the incident was hard to find, but he should be in Nethergarde Keep, as for the other one, he is indeed in this town... You still haven't explained why you need these people." She said giving me a questioning gaze that said 'All this work better be important'.

"Well it won't be easy to enter Karazhan without them... atleast not now. Even if we could enter the tower for ourselves it would still be dangerous to get lost without what one of them knows and the guy who is in town had developed something fairly useful even for dragons... Especially for a specific dragon." I said adding the mystery.

"Its one of those plans for future of yours? Sure I agree that the things you said would be disastrous... but I can't use my time to chase after the wind... I've helped alot with this request and that one about the goblin Rhea is still a hard nut to crack, you can't expect much from me anymore." She said drawing a line between her duties and friendship before continuing, "You know... If you help with a personal request in the future we can exchange favours, especially since that Lady Prestor clue you gave has been showing alot of results. If you help take this dragon too... You get another favour, how about it?" She said trying to hook me into the mess of ousting a deeply embedded agent of the black dragons.

"I'll pass this time... it enough adventure for a while, also, we will get busy soon, maybe in two years or later... the kingdom wont fall to ashes so quickly... Just be careful with the Mansons Guild and possible Riots, all one needs to do is leave some reminders to the pesky corrupt nobles and it should hold for a bit." I was honestly worried about the kingdom of Stormwind, but I also knew that messing around in this place would get me killed, Deathwing was still roaming freely around doing his preparations, all he needed was to do a stop for a snack and I would be gone, if the Unseen Path has the ability to act undetected they should be the ones doing it.

"Also... I guess this is a farewell, it was fun sure, but also horribly dangerous following you around. I hadn't had so much action in centuries... I got something I need to do now so 'May Elune guide you'" Emmarel was not coming around this time, but we still had Mona and Trag with us, we also would have to find a couple of people to bring in this journey, so overall she would be missed but would not necessarily be needed.

"Thank you for helping us all this time, best travels friend." Said the friendly and honest tauren, he had felt she was absent the last couple days and that she wanted to leave.

"Un, Thank you for helping Theo save me!" Said Selia sincerely, afterall she had tons of stuff to do and still spent two months helping Theo save her.

"Goodbye hawk lady!" Said Mona while becoming a hawk while shaking her wing on the air.

We came upon a quiet house in the town.

'This place should be where that mage came after the incident in Dalaran...'

It was quite the tragic history behind this guy... while wife trying to save her from being raped he accidentally killed her, so great was his grief that he fled the city and dedicated his life to their son and to create a way to avoid such instances in the future.

We soon knocked on the door of the quiet and lonely house.

"Hello is anyone inside? I'm looking for Karlain!" I shouted when none responded.

After a while waiting I finally heard the door open, the one who opened it was a kid around 12 years old.

The kid asked, "Why are you looking for my father? He can't meet you right now, he is in the middle of a experiment!" said the kid confidently, showing that he was proud of his father.
