Unbreakable love: Only one I love

Alex had one goal in life to make enough money so she could give her mother a comfortable life. But her efforts always seemed less fruitful even with her adoptive father and step-sister by her side. "Am not crying, just got something in my eye " Alex sniffed. "Am sorry, here is something that might help" the stranger said passing his handkerchief. "Thank you," she said taking it. After wiping the falling tears she turned to look at the stranger. His long brown hair was moving with the breeze around him as his dark orbs stared down at her. He bent down took his hankie and gently wiped the still falling tears from her eyes, "you missed a spot" he smiled. She smiled remembering that night, it was the day she had met him. Nathan Livingston. The man who claimed to only have eyes for her and soon had proved it.

To Much

Nathan woke up to find himself alone in bed, Alex was up already.

He got up tied his robe and went downstairs, Alex was in the kitchen.

He walked into her busy cooking something. He quietly stood at the door, watching her.

Her long blond hair was up in a messy bun, dressed in one of his shirts. She had flooded the sleeves like he had taught her so she could cook. His eyes moved down to her long gorgeous legs that were moving to the beat of the song that was playing loudly from her phone.

He smiled watching her as she happily danced while cooking.

"Ouch" she flinched putting her finger in her mouth. He was by her side in seconds holding the burnt finger.

She looked up at him surprised at how he got to her. He frowned examining it as it turned red. Placing it under the sink tap he flashed water over.

"Am fine" she let out.

"Does it hurt?" he asked looking at her.

Smiling she answered shaking her head. He sighed kissing the finger.

"What are you making let me do it instead," he said looking back at what she was making.

"No thank you, I want to do it myself," she said pushing him away.

He smiled looking down at her, "Really, but you just got hurt"

Her eyes gazed up at him, "I can do it and it's normal to get hurt when cooking"

He sighed moving back, sitting down and watching her instead.

She was making the pancakes he had taught her the last time they cooked together.

"Done, here take a bite" She turned to him with a plate of hot pancakes.

He smiled noticing the flour on her face."Thank you" he said.

Alex sat down after bringing them cups of coffee.

Nathan took a piece into his mouth, "You learnt well, my dear learner" he said.

Alex giggled making a little bow, "Thank you, master"

He laughed gesturing for her to come over. She walked to him and with ease, he carried her up to his lap.

"What are you doing today?" he asked feeding her a piece of pancake with honey. Opening her mouth Alex took it.

"Staying home, I wanted to go check on Mother but she had plans with Father," she said.

"Come with me to work," he said.

"Huh?"

He nodded, "I don't want to leave you home alone, so let's go to the company where I can keep seeing you"

Alex smiled, "But what would I be doing there while you are busy?"

"Anything you want," he said.

"But I can't do that, no one knows me there and am an outsider"

Before Nathan could answer Becca walked in, "Trust me Alex everyone knows you there he made sure of that "

Alex blinked looking at Nathan, "And you are not an outsider but so special to me so you can do anything there"

....

"Are you sure about this?" Alex asked Nathan before going out of the car.

He chuckled pulling her closer, his hand held her neck as he bent down to her face.

"I don't want to force you, but I would love for you to join me today," he said stealing a kiss from her lips.

She smiled, "Okay, let's go" Nathan stepped out of the car and turned to help her out.

Alex stood next to him and gaped, it wasn't the tall building that attracted her attention but the huge image of her face on it.

"I told you everyone knows you here" Becca whispered next to her.

Alex glared at Nathan, "Why is my face on your company entrance?"

He laughed, "It was the only way to see you every day when I came to work," he said.

"But... but this is too... too much" she muttered.

"Trust me Alex you don't even know what too much means," Becca said walking in.

"Come on let's go in," he said

Alex could feel the eyes and hear murmurs as they walked through to the elevator. She noticed another picture of her next to the reception.

"The day you accepted to be his girlfriend, he ordered all your pictures to be filled around the company building," said Becca pressing the button of the elevator.

Alex bit her lip, "Nathan this is embarrassing" she said.

"How is it embarrassing, they have been complaining that am always staring at pictures instead of the real person, so today am showing them that I am your boyfriend," he said.
